I was there to pick up a foster pup. And the lady was super nice, gave me food, a gate, leash and collar to take care of her. I can't wait to help out more.

Absolutely embarrassing non-profit org. Terrible communication. Took almost days for a response. Was told since I’m a college student, I wouldn’t be able adopt a kitty. If you are looking for a place to adopt, there’s a lot of better non-profit orgs in the area.

Was told that the SHS was closed on Weekends, and adoptions couldn’t take place, but the cat we were trying to adopt gets adopted on the weekend. Doesn’t make sense. Told that one of the directors would call us and she never did because they’re closed but the cat we wanted gets adopted that very same day??? Embarrassing and disrespectful.

Doing a great job of taking care of animals! If you want a great place to donate to, I highly recommend them!

Yes I believe They do, all donation are giving to other pet parents in need of help keeping the pet healthy. You can always call to make sure , they are very friendly and Kind people all are volunteer to help
We don't even have enough food to keep all of our fosters fed.....sorry wish we could help.
Yes there are
I'm sure they will. Sorry for your loss.
All shots, and neutering is included in adoption cost.I can say it's the best cash I ever spent.
I think so, when I was there I did not witness any medical facilities, I think it is run by volunteers
I am sure they do call the nuter scooter that is the place for shots
We have several foster homes for cats in our custody who are either growing large enough to be spayed/neutered or who are awaiting adoption. We do not offer temporary foster care for cats not in our custody.
The Suffolk Humane Society does not administer shots or issue licenses. We do have the VB SPCA Neuter Scooter on site two days a month. They have a walk up vaccine clinic from 11 am until noon on those days.
At times, Suffolk Humane will have small dogs available through the dog foster program.
