My 2nd time here, so much bigger then the last time I was here, the Tram ride is very entertaining and extremely educational! The entire place and staff just make you fall in love with the animals! Look forward to my next trip there!!

This is a beautiful retreat for the wild animals that otherwise we're not taken care of. I was totally appalled with hearing the stories on how big cats get bread treated and disregarded. It's a real shame. This place and these cats are definitely a must see if you anywhere near the area and even if your not anywhere near find the time and check it out. There's also rooms which is a dream of mine one day I will be able to!!!

I admire the work and education that they do here!! It was well worth the visit. The lion caroling was a highlight!! It feels good for the proceeds of my visit and gift shop purchases to go toward the care of these animals, a mission every staff member takes to heart.

We stayed in one of the treehouses for my birthday a couple of years ago and it was perfect. The weather was just the right temperature, and they even decorated our treehouse for my birthday. We loved hearing the lions roaring during the night and taking the tour the next morning. Thanks for taking time to stay with us and review us Lorry. We'd love to see you again sometime! Take care.

Lodging starts at $175 for a room (for 2 people) some days (like holidays and weekends) it can be more expensive for base rate. Visit our website at tcwr.org to check out rooms and rates based on when you want to come.
It was cold and rainy when we went this week. The cats were out and roaring. Some were playing with each other.
Yes, they have several camping and lodging options. See their website for more info.
It is however the ground is uneven. If you are taking a trolley tour it should be ok.
Yes. The trolley is available according to weather.
Yes, they have lodging and camping area. Check their website for pricing and pictures. It's a great experience listening to those majestic cats at night!
Our habitats are roughly 1/4 acre for big cats. They all have grass, benches and plenty of enrichment.
They pretty much all do. It just depends on the time of day and what types of wildlife are out and about at those times. For instance, deer usually move at dusk and dawn. The rest of the time you can see things like rabbits, squirrels, birds, armadillos, opposums, etc... If they are out and about. Nice place, very rural.
Call Turpentine Wildlife Park... they may be missing one, or they can save him!!
You only get to look at them. This is a big part of their morals that they are a no contact facility. This is safer and more healthy for the animals as they have had so much abuse before coming to TCWR. TCWR explains more in their tour as they take you around to see all of the animals.
It's a walk through, but there is a tour of some of the habitats that has a trolly option or a walking option. It's a must visit.
Remember those are still wild Animals they are gorgeous but for the safety of all they have to be in their Habitat, most all of those Animals come from abused Background and therefore it is necessary to keep your distance,we visit every year and being amazed of their progress thanks to the awesome Caregivers who take care of all the Animals,it is a great place to visit
I'm not sure I rented a motel room but the prices are on the website.
Went last week..wear mask on the walk to tram..optional on tour bus..(open aired) ..wear in the shop
I think so it's a team ride
I can't say but I will post pictures as soon as I can process them
$25 for adults, $20 for teens, $15 for veterans/seniors/active military, children under 3 are free. We also offer tram tours for $5 extra per person . You do have to wear a mask while you're on the property.
It just depends on what you want to do. The tour has an option for a bus tour, so no walking! If you're not doing a tour, there really isn't much walking. Plus, there are benches that you can sit and enjoy the animals company 😁
We know all the names of the animals, but with over 90 animals it could take us a while to answer. Do you have a specific one in mind?
No
I went in January during a slow time so it took a little bit more than an hour nobody was there after us so they might have gave us extra time. Plus since it was cold all the animals were out and active. When it's hotter the animals are sleeping and hiding in the shade. So I would say go first thing in the morning or late at night if you're going during the summer.
The price is well worth it. It takes a lot of money to care for those animals that we are destroying
You can't touch but still awesome to visit.
No
Yes you can make a day trip an see all, but to really experience the tigers, if u can, stay overnight. To be woke up at all hours of the night by the roars is just fantastic. Have a great time.
It is paved to the store and gavel for 400ish yards to the cabins.
We Are going there next year for my birthday and to look at your big cats there to and stay in a lodge to.
Please do the walking tour. The guides stop and talk about all of them. Very informative.
The answer depends on what your "cabin" is...what is your "cabin"?
Yes, we are open every day of the year except for Christmas or if the weather is too severe.
There is an extra $5 charge if you want the bus/tram tour. It is worth it. The guide on my tour was very knowledgeable and it was obvious that she truly cared for the animals. She knew each one and its personality. The rooms are pricey.
$20/Adults $15/Teens 13-19 $10/Seniors (65+)/Veterans/Children 4-12 Ages 3 and under are free
I think the only day they are closed is Christmas Day. Their hours are on their website. I recommend early in the morning. Cats are more active.
Yes. They have upscale tent camping. They also have lodging that overlooks the animals. They even have a treehouse you can stay in.
Adults age 20+ are $20.00 Ages 13-19 are $15.00 $10.00 for children <13 They also offer senior and veteran prices and big savings on annual memberships
