How much walking is involved?

It just depends on what you want to do. The tour has an option for a bus tour, so no walking! If you're not doing a tour, there really isn't much walking. Plus, there are benches that you can sit and enjoy the animals company 😁

You can walk if you don't mind walking up and down a hill and a climbing a few steps. They offer a bus tour also or you can walk the smaller enclosed area where they have a few benches to sit on.
