Is there still a petting area with the Cubs? It's been about 20 years since I've been here and wanted to bring my girls to enjoy the fun I did when I was a kid!

No, don't support the petting zoos. Cubs shouldn't be handled for than a few weeks Most zoo's go well over this time. Believe it or not the Cubs can build up disorders and deformities by being handled by man and these early stages. If you don't believe me do the research. Don't support the zoo's that have tiger cubs for petting.

Try to do the tour around feeding time. Very cool!

No. It is entirely no contact. Do take a tour, you learn so much.

No, we are now a hands off facility! We still have walking tours every hour and trollie tours every hour on the half hour as well many walk up sights to see the animals. It's an amazing place for kids and adults of all ages! And don't forget about the glamping tents, and other kid friendly rooms for overnight stays!
