We would like to visit but we have a 7 lb. dog. Can we just leave her in our "cabin" while we tour the facility - just like we do when we visit other places - we do not want to take her on the tour. Is that possible?

The answer depends on what your "cabin" is...what is your "cabin"?

I'm not sure if they would want an outside animal on the property, best to call them and ask.

If you are staying in one of our pet friendly rooms (siberian or bengal suites) then yes, you can leave them in the room. We prefer them to be crated or left in the bathroom. If you pet does any damage while you are away you will be charged for that damage. Pets are not allowed in any of the other rooms.

Yes we left our 3 dogs in our cabin while we went. Cant take them on the tour at turpentine big cat refuge. It really depends on the cabins you stay at. We stayed at a very pet friendly cabin and had our dog crates with us

Yes, you wouldn't be able to bring your lil pal with you on the tour

If you are going to stay in one of the cabins on site I would say yes. The cabins are only a couple of hundred yards away from most of the habitats
