We watched the Independence Day fireworks from our Windcraft trihul party boat on the lake. It was mesmerizing watching the sun set as boats gathered and speckled all around at a safe distance from other boaters on the calm lake waters. The fireworks from Chateau reflected on the water and the explosion sounds reverberating over us was incredible! This was an event I've wanted to do for years. I'll not soon forget it. We waited a little while for boaters to head back after the show. Didn't see anyone speeding back in a crazy manner as I've heard stories about. We did have to be extra careful navigating back to our slip at Table Rock State Marina, which took about 20 minutes, because it was dark, and to allow others to go buy and Keri keep a good distance.

We did the sunset cruise with Captain Matt. It's really worth every penny. We really enjoyed the sail. There are 49 tickets available, I think it would be far too crowded. When we purchased online only 15 tickets were sold, I think 25 would be the max comfortable number of passengers. The lake is beautiful and I'd absolutely do this sail again.

First time here at table rock. It is very beautiful. We are currently staying in campground #2. Dump Station and clean water in campground #1. Campsites are nice, well kept. The shower house is clean, heated, and the water is hot. Bathrooms are also clean. Laundry available in the shower house/restroom area. Washer and dryer takes quarters. There are tons of trails and the lake is stunning. Pet friendly. Camp hosts checked on us when we arrived. Everyone seems super friendly. Walmart is about 18 minutes away in case you forget anything. No issues to complain about for us. Tip: Grab firewood and kindling on your way in. Nothing sold in the park. We will definitely return.

Table Rock State Park is one of the primary areas where my brothers and I do our daily walks. It's a very popular location for individuals seeking some exercise or a nice walk through a wooded area. …

Yes it's good fishing and there are several guide services in the area as well as a Bass Pro shop where you can get out of state license.
Yes, you can rent kayaks across the street from the state park entrance at White River Adventures.
Is camping free
Yes, if you Google hotels near this location there will be plenty of options. Branson is overrun with lodging options.
I ran this trail and only saw one person. The lakeside trail is paved and lots of park employees. If you venture on the dirt trails wear good shoes and bug spray
They have places that you can rent ATVs and ride around. I'm not sure about bringing your own personal ATV it appears to be all private land up in that area.
Mostly sunfish and bass
I really don't know but I could call there and ask for you
Yes it is, you should also visit the Nature Center at the end of the dam, it is free. Lots to see there.
Agreed, they are generally pretty clean but, it's better to be prepared than to be caught off guard. And of course, they are charcoal grills as opposed to propane.
There is somewhat of a beach area at the actual State Park campground, pea gravel and sand. "Moonshine Beach" is north of the Table Rock Dam, State Park is about 1 mile south of the dam. "Moonshine Beach" is not part of the State Park, it is a separate location and it is part of the Army Corp of Engineers as opposed to the State Park which is run by the State. If you have an "America the Beautiful" access pass or a "Golden Access" pass, day-use at the Army Corp of Engineers parks are generally FREE for the pass-holder & those in the immediate (one) vehicle with the pass-holder. Depending on the time of year that you want to go, it's always a good idea to call ahead on the day you'd like to visit, to see how busy it is. Something that we do everytime now, and it has saved us a lot of hassle with getting to a location only to find that it's so crowded that it wasn't worth the drive to get there.
Yes, but not both campgrounds. December through February the individual water spigots are shut off, however the showerhouse in campgroumd A stays open. Potable water is available year round at both campground A and B dump stations.
A limited number do; the map of the campgrounds (on the website) will show which ones are full hookup, which are just water & electric, and which have no utilities.
No you do not
Yes, but not always possible depending on the square footage of unpaved area.
Where is there during the daytime so I'm not really sure drove by at night but I didn't go by the ramp
This season was in March 2021
If you're talking about the steamboat cruises then I believe their plan is to only open after mid May. They were closed when we went end of March
No too far...I'll see if I can get a picture of the maps
I was at the camp grounds, no boat. But it's a beautiful camp ground, trails are so nice.
Be careful. The water level is very high. Some areas have been closed.
I think mostly grass, but some gravel depends on what you get.
Yes, you can even take a tour down inside the dam. Wear a jacket, it's cold in there but it's a very nice tour.
Several specie of fish. Bass, large and small mouth. Cat fish is popular. Pan fish. The visitor center is advised.
Try the Hungry Hunter... Great food. Nice staff.
No you are not allowed any off road vehicles.
I think if you live in Arkansas, you can buy a special license which allows you to fish Table Rock, Bull Shoals, and Norfolk lakes. It's called the White River Border Lakes Permit. It cost $. $10.00. https://huntfish.mdc.mo.gov/huntfish/permits/white-river-border-lakes-permit
I believe the paper we just got from them said $24 a night. I will have to get it out of the car to confirm that. But the prices I have start May 1st. You can also visit the website to reserve a site, they are booking fast several months ahead right now. They also have walk in sites so you don't have to reserve one.
Basic Tent spots are $12/ night and there are several spots directly on the water or with a short path to the water.
2 pm
It certainly is open during the winter season and definitely reccomend visiting during this season because of the beauty! There are power and water connections for RV's if that is what you are wondering. There are also public showers available.
No
Not really sure, no weather problems!, Maybe water level?
The camp grounds are pay grounds. Not sure where you can shower for free in Branson
$5 to use Moonshine Beach, otherwise free.
Don't have any idea just call and ask,
What linda said
Do not bring your own firewood unless you live within 75 miles, otherwise you have to purchase local. Most campsites have fire ring with 1/2" bar grate. Best to bring a small portable grill.
I'm not sure about making a reservation but you would want to look it up under Missouri State Parks and then look up Table Rock Lake. I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy your time there.
It depends on when you want to visit. If it's during the busy season, summer months lots of visitors in the area especially around the lake. Weather it's midweek or weekend it can be pretty busy here especially at the State Parks and Army Corp Parks. Based on personal experience over several years, I would Strongly Suggest/Recommend making reservations in advance, better selection of sites especially for accessibility purposes. Never "Assume" it won't be busy or there'll be plenty of sites. That has come back to bite me many times in the past. I've learned from it. 👍😀
Really level. Love love camping here ♡
Call the camp host office for verification. In the past, unless you were on what's called a "Family Camping Site", you were only allowed 1 tent at a campsite with an RV on it. Rules can and do change from year to year occasionally. It's always best to check with the actual camp hosts office and also to make reservations. I've learned from past experience.
Yes...entrance to campsite is in a different area..Gates to visitor center close at 10p
Yes, must follow rules of the road.
