The place looked dirty booking was never entered after I drove 5.5 hours. They use the name America best so you can't tell it's a knock off. They had a very dirty mattress in the garage that looked like it could have had bed bugs. Im so happy I didn't stay

The place wasn't that bad. About what I expected from a motel. My main problem is that I explicitly told them I wanted 2 nights and they only charged me for one. Everything seemed fine when I paid for what i assumed was 2 nights until I got a call while I was out the next day telling me I left my stuff in my room and checkout had passed. I explained that I paid for 2 nights like I mentioned the day before. The guy said I had to pay for another night just so I can get my stuff out of the room. If you plan on staying here for multiple days, try to explain to the staff until they understand that you want to stay more than one night.

Okay so first of all I wanted to say I booked through Priceline so I think I paid a little less than their personal quote over the phone. We arrived to Savannah on Sunday afternoon still not sure where we were going to stay. We had some great food and decided to go ahead and find a cheap hotel to stay for a night or two. Annnnnd after GAWKING at the prices of even the budget hotels in the historic district ( looking at you Quality Inn for $250/night.) So when we found this place for under $70 a night and it was only 10 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. Definitely a get what you pay for situation but I was pleasantly surprised for the most part. Apparently the hotel is under new management so you can tell they are trying to spruce the place up. The front desk clerk when we arrived late night was extremely sweet and accommodating. The room was clean but not pristine. Sheets and towels may have a few stains but were obviously clean and smelled like they had been washed in bleach. Our room had a smart tv which I wasn’t expecting and the bed was big and firm but the hollow bed frame made us lovingly refer to it as THUNDERBED. Lol. The bathroom door was a little wonky and didn’t quite close all the way but I was with my partner and we didn’t even care. All in all, if you are the kind of person who is used to nicer places or you don’t remember your first studio apartment in the less nice side of town cause it was cheaper, then this may not be the place for you. But if you ask me, spending $150 on two nights at this place (closer to $200 if you don’t get an online discount) is so much better than spending more than that on one night to stay 10 mins away. Would definitely stay here again.

For a cheap hotel it's not bad. When you see the outside it makes you cringe but the room is pretty decent for the money you spend. The staff is really nice. So if your looking for something cheap for one night this is the place.
