If you love being outdoors hiking beautiful trails, boating, swimming, picnics, and all the it entails...this is the place to be. I don't know how I've not known about it until this year, but I'm going back ASAP. And it only cost 4 dollars to enjoy a whole day of it.

A park that's over 200 acres of well maintained dog parks, multiple children's playgrounds, golf, frisbee, swimming, boating and fishing, just to name a few of the activities they support with equipment provided. There are also several hiking trails to choose from that are also very well maintained without taking away from the natural beauty of the areas. There's many interesting and amazing sites to visit along the trail so make sure you bring a camera! For only $2 per person a day, the price is phenomenally low for all that they have to offer. I'm thinking about getting the year pass. That's $30 for Clark County residents and $50 for non-residents, this includes two adults and one child under the age of 17 from the same household.

I love sandy creek. It’s always clean, and a good time. The landscaping is always nice. There’s never trash in the park. It’s $2 for adults and free for kids 4 and under. The park gives you a ticket at the booth the parking is free.

My friend and I hiked 7.1 miles at Sandy Creek Park yesterday. I do not think words can express the beauty and perks of the park, so you should check it out! If you don't like critters or snakes, I would do everything but the hikes and trails.

Admission Fee: Ages 4-64: $2 per person Under 4 / 65 & older: Free Disc golf: extra $1 per person We also have annual family passes that are $30/family/year for ACC residents and $50/family/year for out of county residents. More info at www.accgov.com/sandycreekpark
There is not one scheduled for this year. With the pandemic and other concerns, we weren't able to host it this year. Hopefully we can add it back in the future.
It has plenty to do and see, including dog parks (both public and private), walking trails, frisbee golf, two playgrounds, and swimming with a sand beach in the summer. Lovely area for a picnic, or you can reserve a pavilion for a party and cookout, if you'd like.
I would check their website. Been there a few times, but don't remember it having a camping area. No shade to Ryane, but I think he may be thinking of a different park. Sandy Creek is a big park with several pavilions, walking trails, a sprawling disc golf course, event/education center, sports fields, regular fields...and a good handful of bathrooms lol
There are 3 fishing piers at Sandy Creek Park. The old wooden Pier near pavilion 4 is being demolished permanently and that location will not have a fishing pier anymore. Here is a map of the park: https://www.accgov.com/7839/Park-Map
We do not offer overnight camping.
There is like 3 trails..that are not very long. I take my dog there frequently because it is right on the river.
Be sure have Tour fishing license, nex to a little beach is the best place.
No, they don't have camping area . They have fishing area, a little artificial beach , and more.
I don't know. I have never stayed in the houses.
There is not a pool but there is a nice beach area that is calm and shallow. Great for kids. Even has showers to rinse off after
Exactly what Walter said. I'm sorry Jodee. I have a GSD that would love to swim in the lake too😊
NO you will be locked in and you will have to call the poilce to get you out of there!
To find the trail map, follow the signs to the boat ramp. Park in that lot and the map is at the trail head. The 8 mile loop around the lake is beautiful.
The dog I was walking pulled me to the waters' edge so she could get in as we walked the seven mile trail around the lake.
9am i think
