The dog I was walking pulled me to the waters' edge so she could get in as we walked the seven mile trail around the lake.
It is a reservoir, maybe that why no dogs in the water 🐕
Actually this lake doesn't allow dogs in the water, even on kayaks. This is a great dog park. And as mentioned you can take your dog walking with you and there are tons of opportunities for your pooch to get in and get wet.
Yes There is a "beach" where people swim but if you go on the trail around the lake dogs can swim near the shore
