Yes
It is legal i know for sure. Clarke county has alot of options for renting venues and all accessories for partys and weddings. If your trying to get by without all that expense i would suggest taking what you need down the trail to the shallow schoals and getting married right in the middle of the river. There are really expensive houses for a backdrop too. The to get there will not be friendly to elderly people. And i would suggest changing clothes on spot. The downside will be lots of people and dogs. But i would expect respect from the friendly patrons. Hope this helped. Congratulations!
Yup. There are bathrooms by the parking lot.
Unfortunately, you're unable to camp here. The park "closes" at dark. However, about 30mins away is a great place to camp. Fort Yargo.
No, there's only paving to the end of the bridge, after that it's dirt and gravel. The trail itself is sand and dirt that turns into mud in several places.
It's free to the public as far as I know, but that means that people will come and go as they please, so don't expect too much privacy.
No, there is only a pedestrian (& dog-walking) trail.
That is one of the most beautiful places I have visited
Fishing is allowed along the Middle Oconee River at Ben Burton Park as long as individuals are using Georgia-legal equipment and have a Georgia Department of Natural Resources fishing license. See www.accgov.com/benburton for more details. - Public Information Office
Approximately 1.5 miles of trail exist at Ben Burton Park. However, they are unnamed and not officially designated trails, so information is not available on specific segments. - Public Information Office
