Looks can be very deceiving. Upon arrival the hotel is gorgeous on the outside. Going inside the decor is nice as well. Mind you I’ve worked in an upscale hotel before so therefore I know what to look for. The set up and layout is nice pool area nice. The suite that I received unacceptable. The tub has strands of hair in it and a brown ring. Strands of hair was also on the bathroom floor. The carpet is very dirty. Also one of the bed sheets dirty with hair when I pulled them. Lamps and shelves dusty. Table has ink marks. And the pull out sofa extremely dirty. Bottom line I will not be back. When you pay for luxury and an upscale experience that’s what you should get.

Great stay! Location was perfect for us. Very close to the Riverwalk with plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean, the room was spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay with great access to the river and within walking distance to amazing restaurants. The staff was so pleasant and the hotel was very well equipped. The breakfast was great, kids loved it. You can literally walk out of the hotel and go to the marina along the river. I would definitely recommend and we will stay here again.

The hotel was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and soft. All of the hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. We ordered room service and it was delivered with a smile. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and I loved the made to order omelet station. Our view of the river and marina were beautiful at night with the lights. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will be back again.

Its couple of drinks and some bar bites on offer for 2 hours every evening...apparently North Carolina law prohibits serving more than 2 complimentary drinks....hence it is not unlimited.
They utilize the Wilmington Convention Center. 12000 sq ft ballroom
It's on the roof top and I think 2nd floor. There are two different ones - the roof top oyster bar was being renovated when we went a few months back. You can enter through the parking garage or front entrance and take the elevators - follow the signs.

Parking is not free. Self parking $13 a night Valet is $20 a night. Either way your vehicle is safe in their parking garage
