Make that ZERO stars. I paid the $50 application fee, was approved and I paid the $150 administrative fee. FOR WHAT?? I had to personally ask TWICE for the welcome email. I was shown the apartment that was supposed to be mine. And then they left me hanging!! I never signed the lease and they never gave me the key! I was supposed to move in July 22nd and my lease is up in the apartment I live in... I have nowhere to go now!! I was worried when the lady from the office showed me the apartment at the View because just right outside the door the floor was dirty, it looked like no one had cleaned in weeks, there were cans on the grass in front of the building and the apartment smelled like cigarrette smoke. So not only are neighbors inconsiderate and dirty, it seemed that maintenance doesn't take care of things. I emailed Kenneth asking for my money back and he NEVER replied. I disputed the charge with my bank!! Save your money and avoid the headache! And sure, I'll get a reply saying you're sorry but I don't care. You're trained to apologize but you don't make changes. Horrible management taking advantage of people's needs!!

I could go into a lot of detail about why I’m rating this place 1 star, but I will try to sum it up quickly to save a long read. I didn’t have hot water for 3 weeks despite constantly putting in maintenance requests and calling (at one point I was hung up on) and until I got in contact with the city and the managers of the property the issue was not fixed. Maintenance just doesn’t do their jobs, they never come until you are harassing them. They also use inappropriate language in your apartment and did not wear a mask during peak covid. A HUGE issue is this complex is so poorly built and insulated it will cost you $300 A MONTH in gas bills to keep your apartment 58-64 degrees!!!! I was on the ground level but that’s RIDICULOUS. I purposefully kept my apartment freezing and still could barely afford my gas bills and I had a studio. I called Piedmont several times and they said it was the average for the complex. I was told the apartment I was getting was updated and it was not, there were cracks on the walls and the toilet seat wouldn’t even stay on the toilet, and there were rips in the floor. I have my move in date 2 weeks early and they didn’t schedule the cleaning and repairing until the day I was moving in and we couldn’t touch the counters the first 24 hours of me being there. Not to mention the constant litter around the property. I could go on but I think this is a good enough synopsis to show why you should run from this apartment complex.

Honestly for the price you would pay after the add on water and gas fees you can find an apartment somewhere else better maintained. Mold issues throughout the complex. Staff was not concerned about fixing the mold issue until I called the city of WS to report it. Units are cheaply maintained. You constantly have to remind the staff about repairs. The maintenance men are constantly quitting. The staff are unethical and incompetent. They will do anything to bring in more money for themselves if new tenants are willing to pay. Look into their reviews here, Facebook, and YouTube! I had no idea what I was walking into so just be prepared to constantly be putting in repair orders and then having to wait months for them to be completed. I wish I would have taken the reviews for this complex more serious.

Won't be renewing my lease considering the fact that I'm relocating, but I really don't have many complaints. This was/is a great starter apartment and if I weren't moving I'd be renewing. Maintenance is pretty responsive and the staff is very helpful whenever I need them.

I recently applied for a place there, and i went and logged onto the account and got a notification of saying “ MOVE IN DATE 5/1/21 “ and it has several places available that day so idk if i got it or not,? How do you know if you got a place there?
