This is an amazing place and part of Washington State. It is a beautiful waterfall in the middle of seeming nowhere and leading into a lovely canyon. Be warned that the unpaved and poorly maintained final two miles to the park is probably one of the worst roads in Washington State. Shame because it is fully worth the effort made to get finally to the park. This is our "state waterfall" and it easy to see why when you see it.

There's a reason that this is Washington State's Waterfall - it's majestic, powerful, and a unique desert type of falls. This park is great for stargazing and grabbing great landscape pictures! I recommend visiting during the Spring when the grass is very green, or Autumn where you can find ice near the falls and yellow hues in the canyon. I absolutely love it here - it does not disappoint.

Beautiful, majestic, breathtaking, awesome, amazing, spectacular view. Only $10.00 for the day. If the park attendant station is closed ,then There is a self pay machine could use instead. The park has seating, and BBQ grills . But the whole park is far from any store, and it is in a semi desert environment, so bring lots of drinks& water, & food. Restroom are provided only as an emergency temporary relief in the form of porta potty . There is no running water. The roads are easy to drive, most of the roads are 2way, paved, and wide, and state roads , so you are far from any gas station Except the the last 15minutes is dusty & narrow just before reaching the park. There is a free parking provided .

Very Picturesque throughout. Best to come mid to late Spring to capture the vast green landscape. A tiny bit of rain to add the rainbows. Hiking around the falls is somewhat of a challenge but all worthwhile. Make sure to have real hiking shoes. Enjoy Earth.

Yes. There are 11 first come first serve sites with self registration available. Fees are posted.
No restrictions. Must be on leash. They even have loaner leashes there.
Yup! There are some covered areas and I am certain that 4 years ago they were not reservation-only.
Yes , you would have to get a day pass of $10 or a year past for $30. BUT the VIEW WOW!
Theres a booth at the park where you can buy a day pass or if someone is at the booth, you can buy a discovery pass there as well.
Yes it is open for public you just have to have your discovery park pass and you also gotta be carful in the trails the trails are beautiful but also dangerous and you wont have service
No
As long as the car hasn't been lowered and you drive at a reasonable speed the car should be fine...
In general late may and early June will be peak flow depending on the rainfall combined with rate of snowmelt.

Tent camping only
Yes
Educated people are the easiest way to show the path.
Hiking beyond the fence is not recommended. Two people have died this year doing that.
No. There is no safe way to get down to the water. When i was there recently, there was a sign warning about 7 recent deaths. Take extra care when standing near edges as the wind gusts can be dangerous. You can view the falls but there isn't anything else to see except the view.
The river has few areas with road access. The banks and river itself are under federal jurisdiction (army corps of engineers) there are places where camping would be possible though not necessarily "legal" I doubt if you would be hassled and worst likely case an officer might make you leave. Campsite cleanliness would likely play a role in either govt or private property owners reaction.
No we are not set up for motorhomes 5th wheels or trailors sorry down at Lyons Ferry they can accomadate you only 6 miles
Been raining in Dayton, but can see the snow in the foothills above town.
The sites are 25 ft max they say 22ft of less but you could fit a 25ft
