There is a gentle hike with a short steep section from the visitors lodge to the base of the hill with the tower and then the labyrinth trail, that has you jumping over and under boulders, giving you a full body workout. The last section, (probably the lemon squeeze) is a narrow section up a crack. There are ladders and supports throughout, so no real danger, this section is not to be missed. You will need some fitness for this. Great views at the top, nice spot for picnic lunch

The preserve is a great place to hike and just enjoy the beauty of the area. Will definitely return.

There are plenty of trails off the carriage road. There's a trail called the stair master from the visitor center that will bring you there. You could also go to the west trapps parking lot. It depends on which trails you want to do
yes they allow pets, you just have to clean up if they go to the bathroom
