We went for a talk on sea turtles from a very knowledgeable ranger. They have regular programs on various topics going on.

The lady inside the visitor center was extremely patient and full of knowledge. Enjoyed the park immensely

Admission to Canaveral National Seashore Park is $20, but it's definitely worth it. The total length to the end of the road is about 11 km. The Atlantic on the left and a lagoon on the right. There are boat ramps and places for kayaks and canoes. The sand on the beach is not that soft, but you can walk on it very well. You can also go cycling or hiking. There is also a path that leads to an Indian burial mound. If you are vacationing in the area, you should definitely visit this park.

This was a really good the good visitor center. And they had clean bathrooms with air conditioned and well maintained. I wish they had a little more vending machine selection but it was OK for the location. The inside of the visitor center had a lot of national seashore knick-knacks. I highly recommend a stop by if you're headed to the national seashore

They only take credit cards. You can check website for specific fees. $20 for a car/van is valid for 2 weeks. You can buy an annual pass for $40. If you're over 62 you may purchase a lifetime pass for $80
Yes. Everything is open. There has never been limited operation within open hours.
Yes
I Don't think so! I'm going to take a ride down there tomorrow. I will post a follow up 😉😊
No
No they do not.
Yes better viewing from the south end of the park. (Titusville)
Yes, they do allow dogs in the park, but not on the boardwalks. You have to use a boardwalk to get to any of the beaches, so Fido is restricted to your car and the parking lot.
Backcountry camping is permitted in the park part of the year. Not sure of the cost for camping but the backcountry permit is a few bucks.
Metal detectors are prohibited by Federal Regulation.
