There are plenty of trails off the carriage road. There's a trail called the stair master from the visitor center that will bring you there. You could also go to the west trapps parking lot. It depends on which trails you want to do
You can start from visitors center but it would cost u 4 miles to go and 4 miles to come back. 8 miles. I just did it last week. .... But if u make a booking by the mohonk lake parking lot. It would cost an extra $35 but u would only have 1 mile to go and 1 mile to come back. Plz Call visitors center and ask them how can u make reservation for skytop tower trail parking lot.
