I would not recommend anyone stay here. It is in dire need of a renovation and the rooms/hallways felt very dark and outdated. We were not made aware that housekeeping needed to be requested up front and when asked if our room could be cleaned the answer was “its too late now” with no remorse or offer to make it better. The location is okay, but not walkable to downtown. For the price, we could have done better.

I was worried when I read the recent reviews of this place, but so glad we stuck with it! We booked the king ultra savvy suite with balcony and our room was huge, clean, and looked just like the pictures on the site. No issues with hot water like others mentioned and we did hang out in the common areas/playing pool. Cleaning staff was very friendly and I LOVE that the bathroom products are full size and not the super tiny ones - especially when there's more than one person in a room. Our bed was very comfortable and the area is walkable. Took about 25 minutes to walk to Broadway. Will definitely be back.

I’ve stayed at some suspect hotels but the Aloft West End takes the cake. The pictures make it look hip and cute- what a fun little spot close to downtown! Nope. Such a joke- I literally would have rather stayed at a motel 6. They emailed me at 5:45pm on the day we were suppose to check in to see if I was still planning to stay there and that they were going to give my room away if they didn’t hear from me. When I saw the email it was around 8:30pm- I called and my room was gone. Two things 1: I am a Marriott rewards member and booked this room over a month prior through my app- member details included 2: We actually arrived at the hotel at 12pm that day- were told it was too early to check in so we left our bags there. They miraculously “found” us a room by the time we got there. The room was gross- just old and dirty and there was a random pillow in the middle of the floor. To get hot water, you have to run the sink on hot for 5-10min (advice given by their maintenance guy bc we were on a lower floor). Save yourself the disappointment. Can NOT believe I paid $300 to stay here!

Oh the many things… Heater blasts to about 5 degrees higher than it’s set. Bathroom was a mess, having not been cleaned well at all. Furniture is old and dated. Dogs barking all down the hallway. Parking is $30 a night. My initial observation is that they’ve spent all the money on making the lobby nice, and forgot about the rooms. Walk three blocks over and stay at the new TownPlace Suites. It’s the same category Marriott hotel and loads nicer.

There is a connected parking deck. I think it's like $15/ day. They add it to your bill, you don't have to pay to go in/out.
No
Depends on your definition of walkable. Its about 20 to 30 min walk to main strip. We walked with no problem. But took Ubers back to hotel late night.
Breakfast and parking both were not free. We did not eat there, but it seems they were charging for a continental type breakfast.
There is a parking deck for hotel guests as well as street parking. If you are a hotel guest, parking is $30. You can either self park or valet for that price.
