This was a last minute booking and I'm very happy with my experience. There is shuttle service to the Portland airport starting at 4:30AM, very convenient for my 6AM flight. Even though I only spent one night there I would probably choose to stay there again in the future. There is a pool I didn't visit but I saw people moving around with their bathing suits and big smiles so I assume it is nice. There was a group of kids staying there, I imagine from a summer camp(?) So yes it is kid friendly.

I would leave a 0 but it won't let us. We are giving a 1 because the staff was nice at least. We've never been so inclined to leave a review. This place was the worst we've ever stayed and we tend to stay in a hotel at least 2 weekends a month for family. A quick run down there were still hand prints and dust on everything in the room, the front of the heater/AC was missing, there was no way to make it so the kids could take a bath in the tub as it didn't have a plug, the TV was old and had lines across the entire screen, the hot tub was ice cold, the temperature in the pool room was cold, there were no towels, though we checked ahead of time to make sure there would be breakfast for our littles there was nothing for breakfast at all for the kids aside from the food that had been left in the refrigerator from the last customers who rented the room. The hotel was extremely outdated and dirty. One positive experience was that the roaches didn't carry any of us away in the night.

Positive: It was relatively inexpensive for the city on that weekend. The staff was really nice & helpful. Negative: It seems like there are a fair amount of people that live at the hotel, long term, and they don't seem to care about others. There was trash behind one of the nightstands (which we had to move bc the outlet stopped working). The hot tub was TINY.

When the hotel advertised they has a dining room opened until 8:00pm we thought it would be a nice hotel to stop and not have to go out to eat but unfortunately for us the dining room isn’t opened on Wednesday nights which was not advertised. The hotel appeared to be older but well maintained and the room appeared to be suitable but when I seen the mildew on the shower curtain along with a cold bathroom it didn’t give us a comfortable feeling. We left really early.
