I very much enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean and well maintained. We were on the third floor and the stairs can be a trek, if you're a smoker or like to go outside periodically just to sit, I would highly recommend you request a room on the ground floor. It has a nice little patio area in front to eat your breakfast and a small smoking area in the back. Make sure that you book a room with a private bathroom unless you're a family who intends to take up a whole floor. The price was reasonable for the area about 249 per night.

I stayed over three months and my stay was amazing. It is a very beautiful, affordable place to stay. It immediately reminded me of the beginning of the book The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It is a fun layout. I wished immediately that I was a kid and could run through all the stairs and the floors. I did explore the whole Inn, it was fun. Every morning they have a very nice breakfast, tea, coffee, dairy and soy milk. Every afternoon they have cookies and milk, and tea. Even when I was tired, I would always try to partake for the experience. Everyone is very friendly, and every part of the place is very well kept. If there were any issues, they always are very happy to help.

Then at St John was a small comfortable Inn at a very modest price. My room was a small one with a twin bed lamp desk chair and a small closet. I had a private bathroom about three or four yards from the door of my room to the bathroom door. The bathroom was clean had a sink and shower and soap. In the morning there was a breakfast with cold cereal orange juice fruit coffee. The staff was courteous and helpful. The end was quiet and I slept very well. I parked on the street about 3 minutes walk from the hotel which has a small parking lot and then a larger one some distance away I didn't go there.

This is my favorite hotel, maybe ever! A beautifully renovated building, maintaining the integrity and ambiance of its history. Well appointed and decorated rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows, and amenities to meet all one's needs make it a most pleasant stay. Check-in was warm and welcoming while also efficient and informative. Breakfast had many delicious choices served in a simple and elegant manner. This is a wonderful place to stay!
