Nice airport, quick. We have flew out of here a few times and have always been impressed with how quick the service is. The parking lot is usually full but not hard to get to. Parking garage is clean and accessible. The airport is clean and very helpful. I was truly impressed with this airport. We've had to fly in a few times. I like the way in the parking lot you can tell if a parking space is open by the lighting system. Stores are not always open but when they are they are nice. Restrooms are clean and accessible. There's an open parking lot for big vans. To get to the airport is easy. Signs are visible.

My favorite airport! Flying to and from Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) is consistently stress-free and pleasant. It is a spacious and clean facility with comfortable seating and a peaceful atmosphere. I recently traveled with a disabled person, and the staff members responsible for wheeling him to the terminal and helping him into his seat on the plane were very prompt, professional, and kind throughout the process. Thumbs way up!

Nice place for a small airport. Had some shops and a few places to eat. Laid out well and clean

I usually love this Airport however tonight is another story. They have ten planes backed up on the runway waiting to deplane, and they have no plan to get the passengers off. If other businesses had customer service the way airports and Airlines conduct themselves they would go bankrupt.

Just over an hour after you park is plenty of time
Take a look of flight tickets website and search about
Depends on time and date of course but with a month in advance I have gotten round trips from 298 to 350 using AA economy flights.
I know Delta does from that airport with one layover in Atlanta Georgia
Must wear face mask at all time during the flight. Social distances is hard but they try to make it as safe as possible. They dont have snacks and beverages doing the pandemic.
Garage parking $12/day. Surface parking (a short walk) $8/day. Valet parking$14/day plus tip.
Contact the airline ticket counter.
It says it in the name, no it isn't, but like all airports you fly through, you can connect to an international destination
About like $6 I might be wrong...
Hi there! It's always best to book directly through the airline's website. Just plug in "CAE" as your starting location. Thanks!
It shouldn't be that far. Columbia is a small city
The Rental car counters break rooms do. And the airport employees break room. You can always ask the uso/ information booth on the 2nd floor they will be able to tell you what microwave you'll be able to use.
Cabs can be found along the exit neat baggage claim. However if you want to Uber, just download the Uber app and hail your ride from your phone. They are usually there pretty quick.
Yes, just be prepared to take them off for scan/inspection.
Sort of - There is a convienance store and a sitting area in the lobby before security
Have them follow the signs for "Arrivals". The baggage area is right there at the exit.
On board bags different from check in. Ones. Every air line has a list of what is not allowed and how much amount if it's allowed.
Different with each airline. Check the airlines web site or call them
Not unless there's a hurricane or a snowstorm
$12 per day in the garage. $8 per day surface. Easy walk to the terminal for either.
The prices are made directly by the airline, the airport has no say in how much the airline charges
Nope
Yes! There are taxi services and ride share services available at CAE. Please scroll down to the very last question on this list to find out details on taxi cab companies that service CAE: https://flycae.com/airport/faqs/. Cost will depend on service.
I'm quite positive they do not sure of a number though. Google should have one or I would just call them direct and get transferred
Not really. No indoor pet relief areas.
No they do not. Flights end around midnight
The terminal is, but the TSA is open from 4am to 8pm and the airlines are only stationed from 4am until the last flight of the evening
Hi Sarah - You need to check the websites of the airlines for this information. It all depends on when you want to go, for how long, your airline preference, etc. Thank you!
4 o'clock u can
About 8 miles
You should be able to get it from the flight counter or welcome services.
I don't think so. But, you might want to check with the airline just to be safe.
You English is very bad 😟
That varies by airline. Ask the one on which you travel. For instance if you have the AMEX Delta card your first bag goes free
About 3½ hours and the ticket price is between $350 to $475 depending on airline.
Starting price about $235 to $375. Depending on what Airline and Class. May be a little more.
No
Yes. Lower level at baggage pickup.
I would say about 30 miles or so but, not for sure.
The state
Right, which is the case in other airports as well
I don't think so. Please see TSA regulations or Airline indications in the website.
Adult for sure.
Yes there plenty car rentals right in airport .
There is no nonstop of this airport. Only with connection in Charlotte or Atlanta. But you can drive from Columbia to charleston charlotte Atlanta or Raleigh to fueled nonstop to Miami
They will hold it in their office. Go back there to pick it up.
You can ask to the airline's!.... That's not question about the airport!...
Why don't you ask the airline Lady at the airport?
Yes they do
Do you mean lyft? Yes they pickup and drop off there. But lyft doesnt have "offices" like that. You just go in app ans request a ride.
Yes
I agree that an hour would be quite safe but half an hour would probably be ok...
It will depend on when you fly.
Columbia is usually at least a 22 hour trip with at least 2 stops in between
