Avoid this Hertz unless you want to be lied to and ripped off. I rented a car through a 3rd party (Priceline) and went to pick it up at Hertz. Keep in mind, I already paid $326 for the vehicle. When I got there to get it they told me that I had to buy the insurance which was $260. I told them I could get the insurance through Priceline for $90. They said it’s a 3rd party so it actually doesn’t cover it. You have to get it through us. I then went on to tell them that I was covered through my insurance. They lied to me and told me that I wasn’t and that with them, insurance doesn’t cover it at all. That I would be responsible. I felt pressured so I bought the insurance. I called my insurance the next day to find out that Hertz completely lied. The lady also had awful customer service. Was getting annoyed at me for questioning them. I don’t recommend giving any business to them!

Open 24 hours a day. Very helpful to rent me a car at the last minute at 3am, though I needed to make prior reservation from my phone. Very nice rental car provided

Our car's AC had a broken fan and made this awful squeaking noise the entire time lol. Otherwise, we enjoyed the drop off process. Very smooth.

I picked up a car Saturday Sept 17th. Everything went fairly smooth until I drove halfway to my destination and it started raining. I turned on the wipers and they didn’t do a thing. They were clearly super old and/or cheap and put myself and my family in danger. I pulled over and my husband messed with them and was able to slide one of the blades back where it belonged. It stopped raining and since it was late and we were tired we decided to continue on to Daytona. The weather called for more rain later in the week and for fear of being in a dangerous situation again, I decided to make the hour and a half drive back to the airport to see what could be done. When I got there the process was easy. They put me in a new car right away and I used that for the remainder of the trip however at that point I wasted 3 hrs of my day…on my moms 70th birthday which is why we were there in the first place… due to these faulty wipers. I returned the car the 24th and noticed they charged almost $14 for gas for my other rental and an exchange fee. I questioned this as the only reason I even had to use gas was due to having to drive so far from Daytona back to Orlando to exchange the car they gave me that was faulty. The lady at the counter looked annoyed and told me I had time to stop for gas. Excuse me?! I wouldn’t have had to use it in the first place if the car had been good. She started typing and told me as a one time courtesy she would remove the charge like it was my fault to begin with. I hate poor customer service. When you can’t relate to your customer who went through an inconvenience then you probably shouldn’t be in customer service. I will definitely think twice before I rent from hertz again.

If you are a gold member you don't have to check in. You can choose any vehicle in the gold area.
Just like using a hitch..most rental companies are against it. That doesn't mean you cant do it, just be extremely careful as insurances may not cover issues that may occur. Read the fine print in the contract...
I don’t see why not, I had a cousin that came from South America, and he was able to rent a car with no problem, but just to make sure, call customer service to double check .
I was told at the counter when I asked if I could put my child(18) as a driver as well, no, the driver must be 21, I was told.
You just have to call the customer service and tell them first
Debit card are credit card
I am not certain but this Hertz was one of the worst I've been to in the country from a customer service stand point. So if it isn't standard protocol, I wouldn't expect them to go above and beyond. Good luck though!
There is a monorail which takes you from the terminal to the baggage / transportation area. Go to the hertz counter and they will direct you to accordingly to pickup the car from parking lot just outside the baggage area.
If you rented the car at the airport you return it to the same place you picked up the car. As you drive to the airport follow the road signs directing you to the car rental return area.
The parking garage entrance is a bit of a walk in the opposite direction from the desk downstairs. You're better off just going straight to the garage and signing out for your rental there.
If you drive a car already, your insurance probably covers the rental. If not, you can buy from rental company for extra fee
As I understand it, the vehicle must be picked up where the reservation was made, due to availability of units.
Drop off is available 24/7 through the Hertz section of the rental car return at MCO Airport.
I don't know specifically about cruises. I know that your charged a fee from dropping the rental at a different location usually.
What is the question in English ?
Check with Enterprise or any car rental company, they'd give you the right answer But I assume yes
Yes there is a kiosk.
I would.
Airport rentals have floating inventory so the timing shouldn’t matter; you can pick your car whenever you land at the airport. However, your reservation starts the moment you check out of the parking lot. Say, you pick up your car around 6 am instead of 8 am on April 28 and return the car around 8 am on April 30, you will be charged for 3 days. Hope this helps.
Lower level. Take escalators down
Says open 24 hrs a day. So I'd say yes.
Yep!
You know, I'm honestly not sure. I'd call ahead of time and be sure and make sure they notate your account of they say you're good to do that. Car rental companies are extremely shady so take good notes and write down everyone you talk to and exactly what they say.
Friend this was on Monday, some mail since I call and only answer in English
Yes Sr, it is, you should look for airport signs leading you to your departure terminal—A or B—and then follow the signs for Rental Car Return.
Yes, you should be able to. All you have to do is contact them in your area, just to make sure.
You will need to call the Hertz rental company to ask. I flew to Florida, but decided to drive back home and dropped it off at a Hertz dealer in my city.
Using the Hertz website. Make sure to sign in first
That may depend on the location. I know some will stay open if you have booked in advance and made them aware of your arrival time.
Stay away from Hertz, terrible experience,
I don't believe you can. Contact Hertz for the nearest location to do that.
A lot of cars there are 🚘
In Orlando they are in the terminal parking garage so if you are flying in you can walk from baggage claim to the parking garage where the Hertz cars are if you are Hertz gold. If you don't have gold I think you need to stop in the terminal desk first
Try priceline
No they are right across the street from baggage claim it's not a far walk at all
No
When calling the 800 number and you get a person on the phone ask them for the direct line to the Orlando location. Tell them you have to call there because you're trying to extend your rental. Or you can try going online and see if you can extend it there. Stay safe
Good morning, Hertz has cars with GPS, but I used the Waze application on my cell phone and connected it via Bluetooth. I like Haci because while you are driving a person is telling you how to get to your destination while you quietly enjoy some music. As for if you can leave the car at the Hotel, I can't tell you, but you ask to contact them if they give that service.
No violation. Hertz will charge you their daily Plate Pass fee plus the relevant toll charges that was driven.
Semoran wawa
yes, the sections are presidents circle, 5 sta rt, gold, 1, 2 and 3, reserved
Call the location where you originally got the car from, then tell them you're taking it to the nearest one. You don't want them to charge you extra for doing so beforehand.
Call
If online do it under special needs or extras after you have selected the car.
Call them
A hold of $200 ist not on EVERY rental. That depends on the reservation / contract and the gold status / level (if applicable). There are many different things. Regular is the amount of the rental and a full tank of gas. That's the Deposit. But you can see in your reservation or contract (you get at the station).
Yes, but we found it to be a frustrating piece of equipment and preferred to use the one on our phones instead, which were faster and more accurate. The car GPS was very limited and the maps were horrid.
Depends on whether your reservation gets transmitted without error. Usually, that's the case. Since you walk right past the counter, I usually stop and check unless there's a line line
More than the cost of buying your own EZ Pass and loading it with funds
I think that as long as the debit card is MC or Visa, they would accept it. Might want to call Hertz to confirm.
Not sure they monitor Google. Prolly best to call Hertz customer service at this location.
They place a hold of the whole rental amount on your credit card
The fee varies, but last time I did it, the fee was waived. It was airport to airport and I dont know if that matters. It depends on the circumstance. Best to call them and ask, one way rental between Hertz locations is pretty common.
Yes of course, they do charge you a fee for it, but it is a minimum.
There are so many people who can not answer a phone
Both A & B sides of the terminal (depending on which airline you are traveling with) have Rental Car Return access. Hertz is in with the rest. Once you get into the parkade you'll see signs that will direct you to the Hertz Return area.
yes. The Station has 24/7
Yes it is, 10 minutes.
Call rental car (hetz) and ask if they accept cash deposit of isurance amout (confirm amout) at time of pick-up car time.
Hi, I returned mine to a completely different location with no bother and wasn't charge anything extra.
You would have to contact them directly to ask
Yes...but it would make sense to purchase a new fresh one and bring it for the price they charge
No, you don't as far as I'm aware. You can transfer your car insurance over or purchase theirs.
Orlando is quite far from there.
Nope! They will ask but they aren't too bad about it. Most people have rental car insurance through their personal auto insurance carrier.
And at the airport As soon as you pass the parking lot and the entrance is at the top left
Hard top
I would have a call center representative transfer you
Yes,
Yes but when you drop off the car in other city you have extra charges.
It has an additional cost, check first.
The minimum requirement is find another car rental agency please. These guys are the worst!!
Warning!!! I did double check this with Hertz. Unless you pay for an "E-pass" you will get charge for the tollcost AND administration fee which is $15 at the end of your rental. That is for EACH time you pass a toll without e-pass or or paying directly.
The one in the Airport, really doesn't matter, Hertz is absolutely the worst company! Never again
Go to the hertz kioss they will help you
