Dr Baptista and his entire staff are simply amazing. I was very nervous my first visit but I left with a clear path to regain my life. They are beside you each step of your journey. You are welcomed into their family, yes the entire office is a tight knit family! Dr Baptista is extraordinary in his procedure and wealth of knowledge. He truly cares about you and his one desire is to help you regain your life no matter your size or age! He inspires you to strive and follow the plan he knows will help you become successful. I had surgery August 2021 (lap-band). I have lost 96 pounds and at age 60 feel like I'm 35. I have boundless energy. I was a brittle diabetic with an insulin pump and two oral medicines. I also was on blood pressure meds. I no longer wear an insulin pump or take medicine. I truly never knew I could feel this good! If you are considering bariatric surgery I strongly encourage you to make an appointment, what do you have to lose? Nothing! You have everything to gain! Dr. Baptista is absolutely incredible! If you are considering weightloss surgery, please look no further. He is a perfectionist with everything that he does and truly focuses on a long-term solution rather than a quick fix. He is not judgemental and is one of the most genuine, knowledgeable physicians that I have ever encountered. He answered all of my questions and has an impeccable track record of success. I also cannot say enough about his office staff. They were so helpful and understanding. (Cyd you are AMAZING!) The staff was helpful and had me, a person who dreads going to the doctor, smiling after every visit. (It is important to note that I am able to say all of these things 1 week post operation. The only regret that I have is not calling Dr. Baptista sooner!)
