Please be careful if putting your elderly parents into this facility. This is the most uncaring, unorganized, disrespectful place my father in law has had the displeasure of living in. The nursing staff will make them feel unwelcomed and a inconvenience. "COVID" rules has been used as an excuse for absolutely everything for the past 2 years. Dining shouldn't be called 'dining' more like 'fast food' that gets delivered to their room cold and late. Watch your bill for erroneous charges, nursing staff charges for every little thing (even if they didn't do it), and they don't bother to learn the medical history of each resident/patient. (To the auto response I will most likely get, don't bother....my FIL moved out months ago and we will never be back.)

I Can only say that the management at this place are VERY abused and unconsidered with staff workers.

Been living at Brookdale Southside for over 4 years and love it here. The staff is very friendly and professional. Residents are treated with respect and there is a wide variety of services and programs offered here. Amenities are plentiful and the opportunity to share your experiences with other residents is welcome.
