Had to bring someone here a few times and they had a terrible experience... Miserable, rude workers (most of them) was his biggest complaint. These people are already down in the dumps because they are HOMELESS. Just awful.

The people are courteous.
Totes Malotes
Didn't give me gmfood
Deaf Rochy Man
Why they're denied my medical because I'm diabetes. I really disappointed.

Thank you I Stephen Lang! Do you know if there are kids there?
The actual shelter on west main yes. Anytime after 4 o'clock p.m.
You missed dinner love..dinner is usually served 6:45pm ish & that's the last call for beds too
You have to call first to find out what they will do, and won't do
Call the mocha center of rochester, they are starting a clothing closet and might be able to pick up
His aunt kicked him out and he has nowhere else to go
Yea go to open door mission they have beds. But they have a curfew though
I don't think so
6:45... If full, it will lock out
I think if a family wanted to volunteer to serve meals that as long as the children are old enough to carry a plate and not be tempted to run around they can help. My suggestion would be ages 12 and older.
Yes 156 North Plymouth Ave 9-5 pm Mon. Through Friday
My question should be yes but it should also be an educational piece along with that to get them out of the state that they are in
I'm not sure, but it would be worth a try
I need help. I want to eat dinner there
A hot sit-down meal is served nightly at 6:30 pm (must be there by that time). This is a soup kitchen, not a food pantry, so they don't really hand out boxed or canned food.
1) There are many programs, so im not sure for which you are asking about requirements, but people should have an ID card to receive meal and overnight services from the shelter. 2) Some people do use methadone and other prescribed medications who use the shelter, but guests need to be responsible for their own medications, as there aren't any medical providers on staff. Please call 423-1825 for more information. Thanks!
No but it's a men's shelter only
