this shelter has been closed since the beginning of august and will not reopen until the first of november. google states it is open but it is not. yes there was a homicide and new procedures needed to be adopted immediately but apparently it takes damn near three months to retrain their employees. this is not the christian approach to handling this situation.there is no excuse to leave people on the streets through the cold month of October as temps are already dropping precipitously at night.
Leonard MH India and pz Adams NFC be a problem is I

Yes to all
I would have to ask management
Yes they do provide assistance...but they're staff is questionable...as they keep all good donations for themselves.
I really don't know but try calling now maybe before 3:00pm
Yes you can go in Ormond street and ask for a referral to they clothes room they will give you one
I believe they can you would have to go an talk to someone who works there an they should be able to give you some help an information

House of mercy is free of charge all are welcome 285 Ormond st. Small pets. Small.
Image a whole floor of a large office building w all cubicles. Long term residence live there. All one floor. A second room is a huge dinning room converted at night into temp overnight housing for these less permanent night to night. DSS after hours places you elsewhere of possible. Kitchen makes meals. Food pantry also. Warehouse off location has supplies like clothes and furniture. Caseworkers. House crew and security there and administration housed there also. Outside fireplace w seating and yard w parking lots also. A small army of amazing volunteers keep it all working like magic. God is good.
They help everyone. They can definitely give you some referrals on how to get help, but you have to be serious

I know Sister Grace personally. I also know that she would never allow the needy to go without. If you believe that this is a 'crooked place' for those reasons you mentioned, you need to either go there personally and speak to Sister Grace or go and volunteer there and see for yourself.
Just an id it is open on a short schedule so make sure u call before you go
The stipulations are being respectful to clients and staff, follow all House of Mercy policies, be in attendance by closing times and be up and dressed at opening hours.
285 ormond. Street
No we take everything... 24/7
You can speak to one of the advocates at the House of Mercy and they can help you out.
Great need for these items.
Call first and ask . Prepared food is tricky we have a kitchen and serve meals at exact times and snacks and desserts . But we have taken party chili and added to it to make more and your food might work depending on what the item is so call and ask us :) peace and love
Yes bring them to 285 Ormond st anytime. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
No., I don't think she does. That person could wear a mask.
Yes they do help with that. You would need to speak to a manager about going to the warehouse as that is where those things are.
