The worst hospital that I ever been over night. I'm in really bad pain. (10 out of 10) I ask the nurse at 10:45pm. I'm in pain. Can I get something for pain. And she said she will ask the doctor and never came back. I press the pain button. The answe is "your nurse will be shortly with you soon" that is. No one even bother come in to check me. I was literally crying because of pain. By myself. Very helpless. The whole night. Finally the nurse come in at 3:30am and give me pain killer. I am in severe pain for over 4 hr and no one come in or no one care. Helpless, pain, scare, the worst time of my life. Right now I'm still at the hospital just want the discharge paper and go home. I will never come back to this hospital and I don't recommend this hospital. If you love yourself do yourself favor and don't go there. I been there 6pm (06/18/2022) now is (06/19/2022) 9:50am. Whoever want more detail feel free to contact me. Update : there has a nurse his name is "Sercan" he is very take good care of me and make all the discharge easy for me. Thank you so much for that.

My mother-in-law, a cancer patient, was seen in the outpatient geriatric clinic. The nurse practitioner said she needed some swab tests for COVID and flu. Instead of getting these done in the hospital, she was sent to the UPMC "Urgent" Care in Shadyside, where she waited over 90 minutes to be seen for something that takes 2 minutes. Why can't Montefiore do these tests on site? Why does an elderly cancer patient have to sit in a lobby for 90 monutes and be exposed to who knows what kind of germs?

I was here for same-day surgery and had a wonderful experience. The doctors and nurses were very thorough and made sure to communicate every step of the procedure. I would recommend UPMC Montefiore for same-day surgery if it’s an option for you.

Parking for 7+ hours is $22. If visiting or a patient you get a discounted rate if you stop by the main information desks.
Yes, it is on the Montefiore side, south tower closest to 5th Avenue, 2nd floor.
I believe there is, but I don't have any information on it.
1 Buffalo St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. This address will take them to the main entrance.
Jack they put you in pre-op room and recovery room by yourself. Then you are allowed one support person
If you're scheduled for surgery at UPMC Montefiore Ambulatory Surgery (floor 6), free parking is available outside of the unit at 259 Darragh St.
They also have a garage parking right by the valet drop off
Yes they do
No, they are closed on the weekend's
I believe 12S is just a private patient unit, meaning each patient gets their own room. It is not an ICU.
I believe so. U can call and hospital information and they will b able to tell u for sure.
Best advice...DON'T GO TO UPMC.
God I wouldn't recommend UPMC FOR ANYTHING.
