There's a Hilton across the street. Hampton Inn and Hyatt Place are within walking distance, with an Aloft not much further.
depending where in Lexington you're going you could be there from the convention center in 10 to 15 minutes.
You can usually find street parking is you are early
This is not a small space place. Good for things like wedding receptions, robotics tournaments, events of a hundred or more. There was a wedding reception on the garden side when I was there. The Miss SC padgent was there too. They have meeting rooms too. And a parking garage if the lot gets full. They have... behind it... an area where you can cart in the larger items through garage doors. Your guest still enter from the well groomed entrance on the front. They have a variety of spaces. Might be worth looking in to for a large party.
