You can either use the online service, which charges you a 29 dollar service fee plus a 12.50 convenience fee. You can go in a dmv and use the kiosk and just pay the late penalties there. It has to be smogged every two years. If it falls on the year you need a smog, you can pay registration, but you'll have 90 days to get the smog.

Study the basics, maybe watch a couple youtube videos on what questions may appear in your city/country. Best way to pass is to read each question carefully and knowing how the road operates. Signs are also not necessary because you dont get many if any questions on those.

I would deff. try to go and do as much ON line. they encourage many to go on line as much as possible during this time. But if you have to go in.. just go early.

The dmv website has plenty of FAQs. But if you decide yo go in, there are plenty of staff to help you fill out the correct form to receive a new ID

You still have to do the classes and fines such as they were 20 years as of 2018 it stay on your driving for 13 years now and I'm not sure in your case but you have both the criminal case and the DMV has it own hearing process

When I went it was very early before opening, The line was already around the side to the back of the building. When I got half way a lady was handing out paper with a ticket on it. when I got to the front of the line the lady asked me what I needed help with after taking my number down she said to come back at the time my papper said on it which was 930 about an hour later. ( note) getting there after 12 they will say there full for the day. This happened 4days in a row prior. Hopefully this info helps

Apparently yes, there were several lines. I just went to process my sticker using the machine that gives it to you at that time.

No appt. I was told by DMV rep to do the online application, upload any documents required. Once i did that, it gave me a reference number. I took that to DMV showed the staff (their outside helping) and he gave me an "appt" to come back that day...which happened to be an hour later. I came back checked in and i was out within 20 min. Best experience ever!!

If you go down if you go down to DMV at 6:30 in the morning and wait in line you'll be the first one out I've done at the last couple weeks I'm there at 6:30 I wait in line and they give you a ticket and if you're disabled your scene before the tickets just get there at 6:30 in the morning and be the first one in line it was very easy for me both times

Its more complicated. Go in aroind 7 or 8 and get a number with time sit. Take the written and then let them process your renewal procedure. It will take time so make sure you plan to stay there for almost half a day.

I don't know if the DMV is open on Saturday but I do know this if you need to handle your business be at DMV at 6:30 quarter to 7 in the morning and your will be handled first come first serve and if you're disabled you'll be seen first one of the first go early in the morning and you'll be out of there within an hour

The only thing I can tell you Gainesville DMV him wait in line and be there no joke at 6 in the morning there will be people there waiting on line and bring some water

It has been years since i did my test but when i did, i was taken to close by streets by the DMV.

Can't get spot. You need to take care care of what you need on line. Then you'll get a conformation number. That's the only way you might have a chance to get on. You might want to try another DMV. I went to Carmichael. No problem. But you must have a conformation number. Or wont get in

The bike needs to be registered in the state it is located and that state's dmv U might consider non operational registration for expense. If you intend on relocating yourself or the bike you will then register accordingly to that state

No you don't have to get the smog first. You can come in and pay the fees and if a smog is required they will let you know. They only thing is that once you get the smog you would have to return to pick up your tags. You can also pay at the kiosk and once you get the smog the tags will be mailed to you.

The South Sac office (La Mancha) is not open on Saturday. But the Broadway office, Lodi and Folsom are open every Saturday 8-5.

I had the same situation. Just go in, there is a disabled lane, you get helped right away. It took a total of 20 minutes for me!! Make sure you bring your registration, the exact mileage of your vehicle, and your old licence plates. I took off mine in the parking lot! Hope that helps

I did, but with 13 things wrong. You can't practice too much. Be sure and always check your mirrors and when you switch lanes, don't rely only on your mirrors. There is no way to eliminate a blind spot. Hands at 10 and 2. Good luck and be a safe driver!

For what I understand you are asking, you don't need a California ID, any other form of official ID will do, like a passport.

You do not have to have the car there. You do have to take in the old plates. It would probably be easier if you just did it by mail which you can do. You do have to fill out an application, pay the replacement fee which is $21 and also send in the damaged plates. If you decide to do that you would mail it to the Department of Motor Vehicles, vehicle registration operations, PO Box 942869 , Sacramento California, 94269. If you decide to take it to a DMV office you do make an appointment if you want to reduce your wait time. You can download the application online and have it ready and already filled out when you get to the DMV office, or in close it with your fee and they make license plates if you decide to do it by mail. Of course if you are a AAA member you can take it to a AAA office as well and they can assist you free.
