It says that you have to make a reservation 60 days in advance, I have tried a whole week each day to make a reservation 60 days in advance and there are no tables.

The atmosphere was great for the kids and I was surprised that the food was good and that was the breakfast I will go back again

Food was served family style and there was plenty. When they say all you care to enjoy they mean it. The characters came around multiple times and and always gave the best interactions. The staff was friendly and very efficient.

You do not need tickets to access this restaurant. But you do need reservations.
Hello Rita if you have to book through the Disney page, create a user and then reservations.
Yes you can. There is even a walking path from Magic Kingdom to The Contemporary Resort. We find it can be quicker to walk instead of monorail or bus.
Yes
As long as you have a reservation you can park at the hotel
No
No because it’s a buffet but you can get them at breakfast.
It was tough a few weeks ago to get the characters to understand that not all kids want to be touched. Also, they have dancing while you are eating on specific timelines. Maybe let the server know of your concern but I'd say it would be extremely tough to not be overstimulated at this venue
You need to call Guest Services and speak to a cast member. They may give you your reservation fee back depending on the circumstances.
The characters are already approaching the children since April 18, and if they can hug them and take photos. The food is a buffet but everything is brought to your table to avoid so much movement. In other words, they tell you that there is and they bring you a good-sized portion of everything so that everyone can eat at ease. Excellent service
Normally they have a waiting list, they can arrive half an hour before the opening for dinner (4.30) and as soon as the person leaves they register.
I don't know if there is a discount for military, for reservations they are usually without availability, what we did was arrive at 4:30 pm (they open at 5) and as soon as the person comes out, talk to her so that she adds them to the waiting list. . They let us in at 10 min.
Yes. Park and go into resort.
1900 Park Fare,
Children under 3 are free and are allowed to share a plate with any adult at your table
Our family of 4 dined for around $200 in May 2019, But prices are constantly changing .
Pass holders get discounts on all food that is Disney.
I imaging yes but call to be sure
for her birthday, they will sing happy birthday to their daughter and give her a cupcake
Yes :) but only the coffee, tea, and soft drinks get refills.
If you can. The restaurant is outside the parks. It is inside a Disney resort but you do not need to stay there to use the restaurant.
Yes, they stay open and give the same service to everyone that dines no matter the time you arrive. Even when your time is close to meal changes
I know that grumpy is not at chef Mickey's but I believe he's at the yacht club for breakfast. You can ask the people at the hotels at the front desk they can tell you more where to go to see grumpy
Depends on how many adults. How many kids and what meal is going to, Dinner or Lunch or Breakfast. Better call Disney Dining and ask.
John answered your question regarding the price. I suggest you buy the Disney meal plan if you plan to visit the parks during your stay.
The wait for the most expensive buffet in Disney is a long one so it does effect other people that want to be seated.
No discount but definitely tell your server about the Birthday if you go. Disney will go out of their way to make your experience special :-)
Yes! It's in a hotel (the Contemporary Resort) so you don't need park tickets. You can use the bus or monorail for free to get there and don't need and you don't need park tickets for that either. We always eat here when we visit. We enjoy dinner and breakfast but breakfast is our favorite there. Enjoy your trip!
Not inside, it is next door before entering you have to take the train and it takes you directly But you will not regret it is unique and special. Not inside, it is next door before entering you have to take the train and it takes you directly But you will not regret it is unique and special.
Book preferably x the number of visitors
Reservation, but it is worth it, it is a unique fascinating experience with the Disney characters dancing wherever you want, you will not regret it and the exquisite buffet 😋👍🎉 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico🇵🇷
Reservations are always recommended for this location. It is rare to get in otherwise. You can always try to make a reservation day of...sometimes people cancel.
A wonderful buffet is an understatement of what you will find.
Yes, but you will not regret it, it is a unique experience and the buffet is delicious 😋 🇵🇷🇵🇷 Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🇵🇷
Yes, it will fascinate you, it is a unique experience, your family will not forget it. Being able to share with Mickey's characters what comes to your table is unforgettable, and the food is exquisite, it's a magnificent buffet with a lot of variety 😋😋😋

Hey Monica! I know for a fact that when you arrive @ Chef Mickey's they will accomodate you if you ask for a table that fits all 6 of you. Have a MAGICAL day!
To eat at Chef Mickey's you must make a reservation. Reservations (through the site, or the My Disney Experience application) are available 180 days before the date to be reserved for the general public. For those staying at a Disney hotel, Chef Mickey's reservations are available 180 days before check-in at the hotel, which gives them a few additional days in advance compared to those who do not stay at Disney hotels, since If, for example, you reserve for dinner there on the 10th day of your stay at the hotel, you could do so 190 days in advance. This criteria applies to all restaurants, as well as to other Disney reservations, such as Fast Passes.
Yes. You can bring cake
Dress her up, have fun. She's under 12 so no problems. Also, call ahead and have them make a special birthday cake for her. We've done that and kids love it!
Can we arrive early if we have a dinner reservation.and park there.
Hello, I prefer to make my reservation by phone, it seems to me that the reservation is subject to a charge of 10 usd if no show, I have reserved without problems and I recommend going early in the morning (approx 7:30 - 8 am) to better enjoy the characters during breakfast and then have enough time to visit the entire Magic Kingdom park, because it is the largest of all! Enjoy your ride !!
In the contemporary, outside the park. Free parking.
It doesn't matter if you're staying at the contemporary any other Disney Resort or even not on property. You can make reservations 180 days out. The character interactions are great. We personally prefer the dinner buffet to the breakfast buffet. On the breakfast buffet my daughter just had dry Cheerios
No holidays coupons accepted. They do give the regular cast discount with your id (not main gate or silver pass though).
Calculate usd 50 per person, booked from the my Disney experience app
Yes it is buffet. Highly recommended for the family. 4 characters are presented. It is convenient to book. It is included in the Disney Dining Plan 2018.
Only with reservations or if you can not enter.
You will have to go thru security and get magic bands scanned to get in to park 30 minutes at least to do anything and turn around and walk to Chef Mickeys. With kids that means unless your breakfast is after 10:30 you are wasting your time.
If you ask the server, they probably would; but that is generally not how they do special occasions. A "celebration" song plays over the restaurant's speakers every 30 or 45 minutes. There is a character in each area of the restaurant who runs around twirling a napkin in the air. Everyone is encouraged to twirl their napkins, and generally just go crazy for the 45 seconds, or so; that it plays. Your server will bring out a cupcake for your celebration. Just make sure to tell the person when you are checking in, what you want to celebrate. When you sit down, ask the server what time the next celebration will be. Just don't expect a character to come to your table, one on one with your child; if you want to sing happy birthday to them. I have been at Chef Mickey's several times, and it seems like every third table is celebrating something. The characters would never be able to take pictures if they were trying to run around to everyone's table, singing happy birthday.
$$$ $50-60 per person. Expensive if you're just looking for a buffet breakfast...Priceless if your children's eyes light up to see Mickey and Crew 🌠😍
No park pass, in fact you could park at the hotel for free for a couple hours if you have a reservation for the restaurant.
