Do you have to stay in the hotel to have breakfast

It doesn't matter if you're staying at the contemporary any other Disney Resort or even not on property. You can make reservations 180 days out. The character interactions are great. We personally prefer the dinner buffet to the breakfast buffet. On the breakfast buffet my daughter just had dry Cheerios

Just make reservations ahead of time and come hungry. The buffet breakfast is awesome.
