This place is terrible. The record keeping is horrendous, they take forever to process paperwork. I recently applied after they closed my case and in this process it's been 3 months I've been down there numerous times telling them the same thing and they still keep sending me the same paperwork in my opinion fire them all. And start fresh.

I wouldn't have even given 1 star if didn't have to. Penn-north closed my husbands snap case. They sent him a phone interview 3 days after, still had till 30th of month to get paperwork in, he had it there 4 days b4. Since they closed it too soon and we moved, he decided to come here and re-open his case on the count they don't do transfers anymore. The 1rst time he went there they said 7-10 days. Social worker didn't send his paperwork to the supervisor like she was suppose to so no stamps. 2 weeks later he goes bck up there and now their saying 30 days. We've been w/o stamps now for the last 2 months, going into 3rd month. They also told him he wasn't able to get emergency stamps either. Just recently our refrigerator broke and all our food went bad and he can't get help. Beware these social services are cutting ppl for no reason. U will have to go up there a few times and they don't answer the phone.

Online. I know the workers personally I been knew they was working from home it sounds like it. I called in a worker put me in the system to go in for a card. I really wasn’t going in for a card he did that do I can go in to talk to somebody. Luckily a supervisor was at the front desk next to the customer service lady because she only knew how to handle cards and her little sidekick was sitting next to her laughing at everybody case she pulled up didn’t know what she was doing just laughing that people got cut off. When the supervisor walked up nothing was funny anymore and the supervisor helped me. Dm me on Instagram or send me ur number so I can help u. Right now they are giving out extra benefits $1100 for 3 kids due to the pandemic. They closed my case out bc I had a redept I didn’t get a letter in the mail they said they was gonna reinstate me when I went up there nothing yet so I reapplied my Instagram Charmmepleasee_
I stayed on the phone and it hung up after waiting awhile. I'm going to try and go down there to do the application in person. Try going down there too it's better in person because online applications take awhile.
Yes you can get food stamps and something called tdop not much but it something
