GOOD LUCK. 1st experience was giving birth. My labor nurse was wonderful, but she wasn’t even a harbor nurse, she was a travel nurse. Post partum experience was terrible. I was supposed to be discharged Wednesday evening but the night nurse “doesn’t do that” despite us being told she absolutely can. She just didn’t want to and lied, coming up with everything excuse in the book. When we finally called her out enough and she was out of lies, she told us we were being inconsiderate. Not to mention nobody came to take away dirty or being new towels/rags which if you’ve had a child… you know you need. They didn’t give me half of the supplies I needed for recovery. And then I stayed an extra night in a terrible environment for no reason. 2nd experience was good except for the pediatric doctor on call blatantly ignoring my concerns and input telling me to go home when in reality my 4 month old needed emergency surgery on his abdomen. Last experience is in billing. 1st bill (for me) they had the wrong address, they sent it to collections and I told them that and paid it. Collections said I’m not the only person who’s said that about them. 2nd bill is for my son. I asked for an itemization, they gave me 5 lines with vague descriptions. I requested an item by item one, they email it, and the link is broken. I respond to ask for a new link. No answer. I call and sit on hold for an hour. No answer. I use their system to ask them to call me back. Never calls me back. Instead they send it to collections. If you have an emergency just go to hopkins. If it’s a planned medical event, go to AAMC. It’s not worth the stress going here.

Me and my wife had the most terrible, uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at fetal assessment department located in the Baltimore medstar hospital that both traumatized us for life. We got called in the back for the fetal assessment and as we approached the sonagrapher at the door (Rebekah D.) I knew automatically who it was so I silently whispered to my wife that I used to date her and what would she like me to do and she said go back in the waiting room so I waited there. My wife was confused on where to go exactly because Rebekah was scrambling around what to do so she decided it would be best for her friend Michelle to do the fetal assessment. Then they sent me back to the room where my wife was. This is where it started getting very uncomfortable and unprofessional for both of us. Michelle was asking us deep personal questions which made the situation far worse. For example: “where are you from”, “how long have you been together”, instead of focusing on our baby which is the main purpose of this visit. She was clearly Rebekahs friend and trying to gather as much information as possible. Afterwards, we left the fetal assessment unit traumatized of what just happened. This should never happen we said to each other! Personal life should not be involved in a so called “professional setting”! We have since contacted the head of the department Angel about the experience and then sent a letter to the CEO of Medstar Hospital. This is totally unacceptable! Glenn Bishop

The doctors and nurses were so nice and pleasant, they to very good care of me, one nurse name Arati was so sweet and my day one male nurse, who treated me sweet all though I vomit on the floor, but this one Caucasian nurse in the emergency room was so mean it a shame that she was treating me mean when I couldn't control my vomiting. When a person is weak, in pain you shouldn't be mean to them, she needs to be fired. But being at Harbor hospital was like being on vacation and the food is delicious, I give the chef 5 stars.

Would vote zero stars if possible. My son had severe appendicitis, and I waited for 5 hours before getting cussed out for being upset that my poor son was in pain and not getting help. Went to St Agnes and got seen right away. Do not go here. You could die, and they would not care. Not to mention the cockroaches we saw while waiting there.

They need a meter that shows the wait time. I mean at last check this is 2018. We can spend bilions trying too get to Mars but not a guesstimate on er wait time.....go figure
The baby ward is awesome treated my wife n I great n they even kept the baby so she could go smoke a cigarette n fed us both
Yes, you can! I believe at all hospitals you should be able to. Most urgent care facilities do take blood work too.
Yes they opened visitation back up but I would call them in regards to the policy.
