My husband is Indian and was harassed by the nursing staff on the day I gave birth due to his skin color. He was rudely accosted by a nurse when attempting to use the restroom and questioned for why he was using that particular bathroom. I will not be continuing my or my son’s medical care here. There was no compassion showed to me nor my husband or baby in the postpartum unit and I was basically ignored by the nursing staff.
