My mother has been diagnosed with a brain lesion June 2018, the neurologist here in CA says there's nothing they can do. Its 5cm long & they are telling us it's too large to operate!? I'm just curious if this could be true?

I am sorry I am not a neurosurgeon. Accordingly, brain cancer larger than 5cm, surgery may be difficult, but if it is just a benign tumor, it is still worth to try. Both Hopkins and Anderson Cancer Institute are good. I suggest you to contact the experts and discuss in detail. If you need a name list, I can help.
