My father is currently a patient and the care he is getting on the unit disgusts me. I worry more about his health now then I did before he went in. The charge nurse was rude, the person that answered the phone on the unit was rude. The nurse is nice, but does not seem to know what is best for my father. If it were not for the fact that his regular doctor wants him to have a procedure, I would pull him from there ASAP. Addendum - he did have a great nurse and NA for the last days of his stay. I wouldn't want to bunch them in with the other ridiculousness.

Thee worst hospital in MD is right here. Not only are they incompetent but they stole money from me while i was in surgery. Just ghetto!! I was supposed to get my meds at a certain time and they never bring it on time then the nurse told me i had to ask for it. It takes 30 minutes to a hour after i request help for a nurse to get to me. The staff is lazy and have poor bedside manners. Please do not come here , you will be disappointed . By the way i work at a hospital and this is a disgrace.

This review is not from a patient, but from a family member of a patient. I have called several times. I was trying to get information about my mother. Everytime I called I was disconnected. You guys need to do better. This is not OK. Even once I reached an actual person, I was placed on hold then disconnected again. Not ok!!

I have lived 61 years, worked in the med field 18 of those, and if I hadn't checked myself out I believe I would have suffered serious health consequences. Compassion is not high on their list, I guess. I felt invisible to these people. Was told untruths. I am still sort of in shock. I went in with internal bleeding. No one would listen, no one took responsibility. I live a clean life so this wasn't caused by me demanding drugs. The anesthesiologist didn't read my chart beforehand. She was smug when she came back to me, never apologizing. The P.A. told me he had 40 other patients to attend to. This sounds like a nightmare because it was. Mr. B. Chambers is in charge of this hospital and also Good Samaritan hospital. He is the one who should give me answers. I'm sure I'm about as important to him as his country club dues. Shame on him. God help us all.

THEY'LL TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT .. IT'S A YES, FOR ME!
Union Memorial hospital has a hand center in the Johnson Building...
Medstar.org
If you go in through the ER pretty sure they have their own 24hr lab.
Parking B across from the Emergency department. Parking B is on Google maps. Yes parking is free, but you have to pay $20 for a pass. Parking B address is 110 E 34th St Baltimore MD 21218, but you can just query parking B in Baltimore and you'll find it.
Yes they do
You can park on streets around the hospital. There is also a garage for off - street parking.
Inn at the colonnade Baltimore. They probably have a MedStar or Even Hopkins rate. But still check on line for sometimes cheaper. Hotel is in walking distance. 1/4 mile. Good luck
No we do not. Try John's Hopkins or University of Maryland.
No, someone who is not vaccinated cannot enter...
It should be fine that usually happens but if it doesn't go down in a day or two go to ER
Call Medstar.
They are still not allowing visitor s

You'll have to contact them directly
Do what Ells said....
I would call the hospital and ask about their policies & procedures on the matter.
I don't remember paying anything but I was only there in the evening. So there might be a charge if you're there during the day
Get a referral from your primary care doctor to a surgeon that has privileges there.
No. But the U of Maryland has a Dental College.
