Great camping experience! 10 minutes to Mammoth for restaurants and shops. 10 minutes to hot springs, lakes etc. Surrounded by majestic mountains and a creek. Level space with full hook ups. Great management. Great restaurant with fresh baked goods and great coffee.

How do we make a reservation for next summer? My nephew lives just up the road, so we were hoping to find a place there.

Use their email,,, or try to leave message on their phone line. They may not get back right away, since they're closed. Good luck!

Yes! McGee Creek runs right through the middle of the park and it is stocked. It runs across the valley into Crowley Lake, miles of access. Also, there are pay to fish trout ponds on property.

We are trying to plan a family gathering this coming July, 2020...we'd need five sites. Does anyone know if it's even possible to book sites for the same year if they don't answer their phone or correspondence until April? Thanks!

We have the option of bringing our RV or driving the truck & tent camping. If we want to leave camp and go to the store or eat at a restaurant in town we're concerned that we'll need a vehicle. Is there stuff nearby? Walking/Bicycling distance?

Christina Carter | Jan 26, 2020

East Side Bake Shop is walking distance across the street from the park. Additionally, there is a Gas Station/Cafe/General Store (Crowley Lake) 3 miles away that you could ride a bike to. They have pizza/sandwiches/burritos, etc. That is the extent of things that are close here for food. The town of Mammoth Lakes is 11 miles away, so I would suggest a vehicle to get there. Eastern Sierra Transit will pick you up at the exit here to take you to town, but requires 24 hour notice. Please call us at (760) 935-4233 if you have additional questions.

Can kids get wet in creeks?

Audrey Ocegueda | Jan 26, 2020
McGee Creek RV Park & Campground (Owner) | Jan 27, 2020

While the creek is beautiful, we DO NOT recommend getting in. Many of the times the current will look soft when in reality it is very fast and very cold and very dangerous. During the drought years it was slow enough to soak. However, due to the heavy winter, the creek will be high and not accessible to get wet. (Dip your toes in at your own risk)
