With mine it updates automatically, but it should give you a text at the end of the month that gives you a link to update your service. Mines a government plan, I don't know about yours, but when I had other providers I still received a message that included a payment link, try that link. If you don't have data you can use WiFi. If that doesn't work try restarting your phone. Mine may be a government plan but it's through the same provider and I always receive a message, and a link that takes me to a website that's very clear and easy to understand. And no I don't get paid for any of this s**t to be said, I honestly don't care about the company myself, but I find it works well even if a little slow on the data end, but I like the minutes usage.

Well that depends on the type, service etc. You can buy many through SafeLink/TracFone which is being bought by Verizon. There are many ways to obtain free service along with a phone.

Honestly I'm not sure, lately they have been lacking in the customer service dept. I couldn't make a call for nearly a month then after too many attempts got it sorted out. I know the frustration but keep trying to contact them. (611) Hope you get the service you deserve.

You don't have cellular signal for some reason, it's asking you connect to Wi-Fi so you can make calls with the internet instead. Just sign into any free Wi-Fi like at a McDonald's or Starbucks and either call customer service or contact them through chat on the website, they will be able to let you know what is happening with your service.

In all the years I had Safelink 80% of issues were solved by restarting the phone. Otherwise go to the website and chat with customer service.

I pay $0.00 for unlimited calling and texting and 25GB of 4G data. The 25GB thing was me being lucky because it was a promotion. I'm not sure what the standard amount of GB come with it. I had no up front costs or anything, never had to give debit card info for costs later down the line. Absolutely nothing, I was eligible because I receive EBT and Medicaid. Just make sure you have those physical cards because they will ask you to send pictures to provide proof in your application.

Unless you just recently got that phone they're not going to replace it they will tell you you are not eligible they only give out one phone per person... the next one you'll have to buy or use an old phone with the new SIM card they'll be sending you... It doesn't matter what you tell them they don't care. They'll tell you you'll have to speak to a supervisor and that supervisor will be that same lady disguising her voice. Beware though they get real nasty on the phone that's why I left and went to assurance wireless they're probably no better.. but at least they gave me a new phone with a one-year warranty free replacement

No..in order to use a tracfone...you will need a tracfone or a byop(bring your own phonw)sim card from tracfone...they do use different network sim cards so its up to you which one you select...verizon, ATT, or TMobile network sim card...

SafeLink is a lifeline supported service a government benefit program it requires a compatible or unlocked smartphone most GMS smartphones are compatible they also have phones on there website but you can also shop at other places just make sure that it is compatible mine is a BLU g60 I got it on Amazon on there website they have a link that says phones go to that and you'll see what they carry I hope that this helps

Well mine at first didn't work. But I called safelink and they said to just put it in and it should work after a couple of days.

Call Safelink Or go on their site and enter all info needed they will be added once per month and you can put your own minutes by adding extra money or buying the minutes.. Hope this helps I do not have the number or site. Also you'll have to pick one of the plans and some mi nutes on some plans will roll over to the next month and some will not allow you to have minutes roll over.. They forward you across seas to Panama n stuff. I've got hung up on at least 10 times trying to get a new phone it's ridiculous and half of them can't talk English.. happens every time I call your best bet would be calling the corporate office in Miami. And it's even a hard time getting the number from the Indians across Seas
