It was evening when we arrived to this hotel. At first glance, the room looked great so we unloaded the van and started to unpack, but when I opened the refrigerator, the most horrible smell came out. There was a visible spill inside and the smell caused us to gag so we decided to keep the fridge closed. As we continued to unpack, I opened the ice bucket and found trash. Used Q-tips, dirty wipes, and wrappers. I immediately took it to the front desk and the girl said she would bring us another one. Back at the room, we pulled the bed covers back and a roach crawled out. My husband caught it in a tissue and about that time the girl arrived with the ice bucket. We showed her the roach and she said she could move us to another room. We reluctantly accepted the offer only because it was getting late and we didn't have anywhere else to go, but just to make matters worse, there was no elevator, so we had to haul the entire van load of bags/luggage up a flight of stairs one by one. It was a terrible and very upsetting night! We ended up spending our day at the Grand Canyon and tried to ignore all of the unpleasantness from the first night, but multiple times at the hotel, the key cards had to be reset. At times, there were also other guests at the desk to get their key cards reprogrammed. The manager offered us a very small discount and still charged us almost $300 for the 2 night stay. She accused us of continuing to stay at the hotel despite all of the problems, but where were we going to find a decent place on that short of notice near the Grand Canyon? She claimed that the roach was a stink bug which was highly insulting! We are from the Midwest and know the difference between a roach and stink bug! She also said the front desk girl would have moved all of our luggage, but we were the ones who didn't ask her. I'm sorry, but I am not the kind of person who would ask a friendly front desk employee to haul the heavy luggage of 5 people up a flight of stairs. Also, who would have been watching the front desk to assist the other guests? In the end, we had to just leave this all behind and not let it ruin our trip. The best we can do is let others know so they can decide whether or not to take the risk of staying at this hotel.

Great little place to recharge near the Grand Canyon. We stayed 2 nights and took in Williams and surrounding area. Nice pool area that we had to ourselves during the morning. Room was clean and comfy enough. Breakfast nor recommended but there's great restaurant options in town.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They don’t even give you water at the hotel or at breakfast. We also wanted to do laundry and asks if they had change for a dollar in quarters and the front desk said “there were no quarters”. Then the next day we tried to get breakfast and breakfast starts at 6:30 am. We were down in the lobby by 6:20am The entire breakfast room was filled with a tourist group from out of town and when 6:30 rolled around breakfast wasn’t even out yet. I only wanted a cup of juice because I was leaving that morning to go to the Grand Canyon. I waited until 6:45am and the juice machine was not turned on. I asked the front desk and the man, Glen (that’s what he told us his name was), said “there’s too many people here I don’t want to turn it on” and I said “sir, everyone here is paying for breakfast. And it’s 6:45 so if you could please turn on the juice machine that would be great” and then he changed his answer to “I don’t know how to turn it on”. Not only that, but the entire tourist group that was there finished everything at breakfast and there were no efforts being made to replace the food and tend to the people who were waiting for food. And the previous day that breakfast was served the eggs were SO WATERY. Like a puddle of eggs. Not even edible, I had to throw my eggs out. Also, 99% of the time you will not see someone at the front desk because they are in their break room or avoiding to be seen at the front desk. Every time I went to the front desk I had to call out for someone because 99% of the time there was no one there to help. The overall environment of the hotel was just dirty. The hallways were dirty. There was a pack of open trail mix laying the hallway and when I woke up the next morning it was still there. The breakfast tables were dirty, even when I showed up at 6:20am most of the tables looked like they had not been cleaned since the previous day. The laundry was so dirty. And the laundry room is right across from the room that they store the food for breakfast and the door was left open for anyone to go in and tamper with the food. There were flys just buzzing around the room and the bread was all out in the hot room. It was so gross and I couldn’t believe our food was even in that environment. Do yourself a favor and please don’t come here The service here was just terrible. I don’t recommend staying here at all.

Cassandra and the young guy that works nights at the front desk made our stay enjoyable. They treated us like guest with welcoming smiles and great conversation. Cassandra let us know about all the local food places to try and activities in the area. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last 5 years. It is always clean and is close to Route 66 in Williams. The breakfast is enough to get you through your morning.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
