The rooms were great. My husband actually loves the bed so much we tried to see if we could find one to purchase for home. The location was also good for why we needed to stay. They disclosed a $25 security deposit that would be refunded if nothing happened to the room l. The downside, they charge a $35 Utilities surcharge, per night, per room. This fee was not disclosed to us until we saw the charges on the bill and asked about it.

The nerve to ask for $ 30 utility fee. Whatever that means. Went to "complementary" breakfast at 0630, lots of customers waiting around for hot food. At 0700, I had asked the front desk employee if there was a hot breakfast? He stated, "the cook was running late". So I asked what the sign about the oven meant? He said "it's broken, repairman was slow in fixing it"... I asked again, "is there a hot breakfast today?" He replied probably not. Folks were still waiting around for a hot breakfast. So, no hot breakfast! Screw the customers. Both front desk employees at 0630 and at 1000 am were both just fiddling with their cell phones. Hey why not get an electric fryer, maybe think outside the box. Hang a sign saying no hot breakfast. Just poor customer service, communication. Place lacks real management!

Doggone Done

Stayed here on my road trip to visit the Grand Canyon a couple of years ago (before the pandemic madness). Clean, quiet and convenient with friendly staff are my recollections. Room was well appointed for casual stays and breakfast was great with a well maintained dining area. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Canyon and looking for a place to stay outside of the park. Wake up early, get breakfast and head over to the park to experience one of the great wonders of our country and planet.

Not sure why such a high review. Breakfast was rough - no coffee and had to go find someone to ask. The elevator had not been cleaned for a long time with a button missing. Hallway hasn't seen a vacuum in a while. It gets a 2 for 2 reasons - room was reasonably clean and there was laundry. For the price I expected better. I stay in a lot of chain hotels, this was disappointing.
