Great place to enjoy nature, and walk with our dogs. Beautiful trees, birds, and thank goodness, no snakes.

Trail is about half asphalt, half gravel and has very little elevation change. Our walk was pretty quiet when not interrupted by some lady loudly talking on her air pods at full volume. Lots of different birds and flowers, some turtles and a snake or two, and the scenery is beautiful. There are a couple connections to the Goshen trail if you want to extend your walk. Trails are mostly shaded with exception to the parts that wind thru a prairie.

I really enjoy this little trail. It's 80% accessible, including the boardwalk out onto the water. Great nature spot for kids. I haven't been inside the visitor's center yet but it's my next stop.
