Great location for tidepooling. We saw lots of starfish and anemones. Check when low tide is and witness it for yourself. Be aware that there is a little parking lot by the trailhead and then it is a mile walk to the beach. The path can be pretty narrow and it is a little more strenuous coming back up.

Parking is near one of the golf course holes with space for about 15 cars. A one mile walk through a tight wooded gulch. I wouldn't recommend bring kids under the age of 6 as the walk feels much longer than it is, you'll brush up against weeds and branches (careful if you have any allergies) and carrying a child could be dangerous. As you get closer to the beach one feels a sense of anticipation as once you get to the beach the view is like night and day. The soft sand beach and tide pools provide so much to see. Be sure to check the internet for when low tide is, that is when you want to go before high tide sets in order to see the tide pools. Great place with great views and educational for kids.

Pinnacle Gulch trail is beautiful, had lots of wildflowers and ocean views. It is not easy. It is steep and narrow with many stairs. It ends at a nice beach. If the tide is low, it is possible to hike south along beach and through rock piles to get to the Shorttrail to return to the bluff top and a short walk on streets back to Pinnacle parking area. Shorttrail is even steeper than Pinnacle since it goes to top of same bluff in less distance. Do not attempt to go from trail to trail at medium to high tides, the beach is under water and has violent surf crashing on cliff bottoms. It is very dangerous and impassable.

Pinnacle gulch trail is a pretty easy hike into the forests that finally leads to the beautiful view of the ocean. It's a fairly easy trail, 15 minutes each way. Parking is limited, so you may have to wait for space to open up. …

It's very steep with big stairs that I don't think you could get a wheel chair up or down.
