DO NOT CONSIGN HERE Like many of the other reviews state, consigning here is a nightmare. I should have known not to consign from my shopping experiences; every time I was there somebody was complaining to the owner about missing items. I dropped my clothes off 7 months ago and was given no information about the process (or lack thereof) but asked to sign a contract stating I would come pick up my things after 90 days. Once the 90 days was up, I went back into the store and realized there was no inventory tracking process (it's done on paper) and the owner had zero record of what items were brought in or purchased. I was told I had to look for the items I wanted back after the 90-day period, but almost all of them were missing even after searching for over an hour. She told me that her books weren't updated but that she would send me a check for whatever did sell (this was 5 months post dropoff). I still have not received payment for them even after numerous (20+) attempts to get into contact with the owner. Still to this day, the owner refuses to send a check for what was purchased, refuses to return my phone calls and has not compensated me for what items are missing, which I estimate is $750+ of merchandise. Consign your nice clothing somewhere that is actually reputable.

Great consignment shop with some excellent finds. Unfortunately, they are almost never open during their stated hours. Sunday at 3pm? Closed. Thursday at 12:30? Closed. It’s a chronic issue at this place. But if you catch them when they’re open, it’s great!

DO NOT CONSIGN HERE. DO NOT SHOP HERE. 8/18/22 Owner took over 100 of my items (2 big garbage bags full) in March. I Called and texted over next 2 weeks asking for inventory. Owner stated she would, but never did. Texted and called asking to pick up my items and payment with no response.. Went to store, and owner said none of my items sold. She wouldn't help find my items. I spent an hour looking for my items and NONE were in the shop. She STOLE over 100 items from me. DO NOT CONSIGN HERE. If you shop here you are purchasing st items that the owner didn't pay her consigners(personal experience and other reviews). This deserves a negative review. I had honest dealings with Cynthia's on Clybourn, C&J on 1932 S Halsted, and Crossroads and Buffalo on Milwaukee. All these businesses paid me or returned my items. EDIT: Response to owner.: How about you STOP lying, making excuses and acting unprofessional and return my 100+ items and /or compensate me for anything not returned.. If you do, I will edit the reviews and complaints I've filed. My clothes weren't moldy, scuffed, or in terrible shape. You greedily stuffed over 100 items into 2 giant garbage bags before I could document anything, then hurried me out the door promising a contract and inventory. Never received inventory, contract took 3 weeks of asking you. I trusted you to document and return or pay for what I left with you. And you returned nothing and paid me nothing. You have STOLEN my items. There are numerous other reviews that complain about you not paying since you owned the business in the last 2 years. I didn't destroy your store. I asked 5 times for you to help me find my items. Your store is dirty and messy with stuff shoved in piles, bags, and boxes everywhere. You said my stuff could be anywhere, but refused to help or let me know how you identify my items. My friend never told you what I've done. Yes I wrote in my review I consigned with Cynthias on Clybourn, C&J on 1932 Halsted, and Crossroads and Buffalo on Milwaukee. All of them returned or paid me for all items left with them. They are honest. professional businesses. I will continue to pursue the return of all my items from you, or fair compensation. Still haven't heard back from you.
