Cute place to grab lunch after hiking around Bodega trail. The New England clam chowder was very filling as it was thick and rich and tasty! The grilled veggie sandwich was good and the crab salad was excellent! Friendly staff and our food arrived quickly!

Excellent clam chowder in a large cup. The other dishes are ok but expensive and small. The winner here is the regular clam chowder and it’s one of the best in bodega bay. Don’t split a cup, just get your own and you could always take it home to reheat. Seating is only outside on large communal tables. Wait is a few minutes but the service is fast.

The clam chowder was worth the wait! Line took about 30-45 min, and we were at about the menu sign next to the road. The line moved quickly, or least it seemed it did given that we were drinking a seltzer in line! We ordered the clam chowder, Manhattan clam chowder, and the shrimp cocktail. I'd definitely recommend both chowders, as they were tasty! We brought our own sourdough bread to accompany the soup. We heard the crab sandwich was good, but we didn't order it. Parking can be challenging, so if you see a valid parking spot just beyond the business on the right side, you should take it. Tables are limited, so you'll just have to wait. Otherwise, there are barrels you can use to eat standing up. Across the street is the marina, and they have a couple of tables to eat at. If you go on a sunny day, eating overlooking the marina and calm water is relaxing.

Since today is Martin Luther King Day, I had the day off from work. This gave my wife and I the opportunity to drive out to Bodega Bay. Our destination was Bodega Head. The trip would not be complete without first stopping by Spud Point Crab Company, located across the street from the Spud Point Marina, located in the Bodega Harbor. We were not disappointed. My wife had a crab sandwich and I had an albacore sandwich and some fantastic award winning white chowder. There is always a long line there, and the parking can be challenging, but the payoff is worth any minor inconvenience. This is a family business that provides great food and exceptional friendly service.

Outside only with a socially-distant sign and plexiglass to separate you from the employees. No seating on the premises.
No they are on a limited menu due to Covid-19, no live crab this year anyway.
I'm pretty sure it's an honest mistake and believe the establishment will 'fix" the error. I've been going to Spud's over the years and they're always over the top.
They do not serve hot coffee and the open at 9 AM
I doubt they do. But it's the best.
There is even a water bowl available when you ask for one at the counter :)
Yes, they are open till 5. Crab cakes sell out fast on sat and Sundays only.
Not sure. We left Bodega on September 30th.
They do sell Live crab, when we where there at xmas it was around $11/12 llb. (a crab was a little over a pound each)
