Andrea Antonio go to Recreations.gov then search campgrounds. I would look at pictures of camp grounds so you can get 1 with enough shade. Is easier to reserve on line even tho you can also find empty sites if you decide to go w/o a reservation. I love this place.

Yes, the river runs the length of the campground. There are 48 sites. You can make a reservation online or by calling Kern County Parks and Recreation.

If you need a reservation for camping before arriving at the campsite, there is an area to go daily but there is no shade.

Yes there is. It's located in the center drive in between sections. Dump station is free to registered campers and $10 for non campers or passer-bys. There are also several water hose bibs between every other campsite

Reservations Re hard to get these days

There are no Electrical hookups but you able to use your own generator between 7am and 10pm. Courtesy to neighboring campers is greatly appreciated by all in regards to running a loud generator all day long as some campers sometimes do there are no rules against doing so but people do choose to go camping for serenity of it all. I only run mine for a short while in the morning and evening. Regarding a dump station for your sewage water, there is only one hook-up on the main exit that is free to paid campers and for a $10 dumping fee for passer-bys needing to dump. KRC may not be full accommodated but you won't regret staying it truly is a great place to camp next door to town. Camp Host Rob is top notch!

Yes on both. You can hike around Lake Ming, or hike the bike trail, which will take you 20 miles across town. Campfires are allowed, each site having a grill as well as a fire pit.

They have to call in advance 2 months before because it is always busy, you cannot online

If you can do your bbq !! The park is very beautiful, I recommend you be very careful because it is a river with a strong current and if it is really a lot of people who drowned because of recklessness !! If you bring children I recommend that the vijiles is always a very deep river! Have fun!! Blessings

When I was there it was 25 If I'm not mistaken you should call in advance and yes you will have to pay more than one day. People fight over these spots so yeah you need to pay for a whole week

Nope all wrong You get there wait in line and wait for the rangers to show up, before the park entry and you park your veichel on the dirt

I belive it's 25 a night for each person. And 10 for a second car. They also charge about 15 per night if you bring a pet.
