When I was there it was 25 If I'm not mistaken you should call in advance and yes you will have to pay more than one day. People fight over these spots so yeah you need to pay for a whole week
In the winter (now), it is $12/night. In the summer it is $24/night. I have showed up during a weekend in the summer and winter without a reservation and got a campground just fine (several available). It is cold this time of year, people are not "fighting" or reserving a whole week just to stay one night.
I belive to reserve a spot there you have to reserved the whole week.. They won't do just one night.. And you have to go in person to make reservations. They won't do it by phone or website.
Reservation is not the right word.... You have to PrePay for your spot. Go mid week, pick your spot, pay for a 4-7 day block (to cover the actual days, you want + the preceding days). Totally worth it!
Its $24 a night . if you want to camping there during peak times may to oct...you have to go and reserve the whole week on a sunday morning. People ussually camp from thursday to sunday. But you have reserve from sunday afternoon to sat. That way no one can come and reserve the spot you want on a monday or tuesday only 50 campsites available and they go quick. I've been going there for about 20 years in a row. And everytime i go i make sure im there by 9am the latest. 1st come 1st serve. There is no calling in advance or reserving online. You have to be present with picture ID and vehicle registration. On holiday weekends forget it. I've seen people sleeping in their cars waiting for sunday morning to try to be 1st in line. Thats why i ussually i go on non holiday weekends.
