Pick up and drop pff time is ridiculous. It takes 30-45 min for them to take my animal for a drop off and the same time to pick up. Should not take thislong to drop off and pick up an animal.

Besides the fact that the minimal wait time to get your pet seen no matter when you go is 4-6 hours, they will suddenly deny prescription refills with no notice, regardless of the pet’s condition and then demand a “recheck” to continue their prescriptions although they will not schedule any appointments. They do nothing to accommodate or help anyone who brings their pets to this facility unless the circumstance is fatal. Be very weary when considering this Animal Hospital. Service is beyond horrible and might be worse off here than going anywhere else that you can find to accept your furry friend.

They took care of my dog the number one clinic tell all my friends and family about them

I'm extremely disappointed. I took my dog in on an emergency and they did great. I called to make an appointment to be seen and was told I couldn't because he wasn't a regular patient. He is a new pet. I have been taking my pets there. My last two dog have passed to old age.

We do accept walk-in's at any time and are open 24/7. The exam fee is $120 without an appointment and patients are seen based on the severity of symptoms first, then in the order in which they arrived. We hope to see you soon! Jen Welch, CVPM Practice Manager
Yes you can but they will charge you a fee. Small price to pay to be a good human being and help a hopeless little animal
You can apply for Care Credit. They have zero interest and low interest options depending on what kind of payment plan you select.
VCA Bakersfield Animal hospital will see your cat, and take care of your cat.
Take them in to see a vet after calling. Say you think it might be parvo if there's diarrhea alongside the vomiting. They might need time to clear the area since parvo is very very contagious.
No. I'd take the dog in right away. They have payment plans, but the dog could need help asap as the seizures could be a sign of complications from birth.
Anything we, or dogs eat is metabolized in a few days at most. Depending on how big your dog is and how much it ate there may be no problems going forward to some problems that may need mitigating only a vet could feel you. However, if the dog is still alive it won't die from the poison at this point. Depending on the poison though there may be lasting effects like I said, and it might bit hurt to schedule a physical to be safe just in case there are lingering effects.
I do believe you can take your bearded dragon to the animal hospital but you can also take it to all critters pet hospital on Rosedale
I went to vca on Harris. They were very caring. It was about $150.00, more if you want your fur babies ashes. yes they allow you to be there with your fur baby.
They take care credit. It I a credit line for your entire house hold including pets. They have 3, 6, and 12 months no interest. Just go online and fill out credit app
1/2 apple cider vinegar 1/2 rubbing alcohol. 70% not the 90% rubbing alcohol. The apple cider vinegar is an antibiotic and a light acid so it works on yeast and bacteria. The rubbing alcohol is drying so it takes care of the moisture that is letting the yeast or bacteria thrive. If your dog has any hair inside the ear you can clean it out every couple of weeks or at least once a month to prevent ear infection and yeast infections.
Would not recommend going here with a cat. They're much more experienced with dogs. I don't seek to lose them business but they ignored my cat's swollen tongue and just gave him pain meds. I'd take your cat to Good Cat. They care about cats and don't charge much. If they can't see your cat today, I'd take a chance with this place then but know it can take hours because they're very busy.
Not sure but they are the greatest and nicest people when it comes to working with all animals.
This is not posted directly to the vet's office, this is posted to the public to answer questions. You may want to call them. Their wait times are longer because they are receiving a lot of calls.
We Had To Take Our Queendland/Kelpy Grace To Them Because She Ended Up Having A Tumor On Her Spleen. She Was Already Bleeding Into Her Stomach & The Dr @ The Time Told Us That First Of All We Had Done Nothing Wrong, Because There Was No Way To Tell That She Had It, Anyways Second She Didn't Think That Grace Would Make It Through Surgery, Then She Said Matter Of Fact, I Don't Think She Will Make It Through Anastasia. That's When We Decided To Put Her Down. They Even Let Us Go Back & Say Goodbye & Hold Grace While They Put Her Out. I Thought That Was AWESOME. The Reason For Taking Her There As Apposed To Taking Her To Our Regular Dr. Was Because (We Had An Apt With Our Dr) She Had Started To Get Labored Breathing & That Scared Us. As Well It Should Have. Bottom Line We Were Very Grateful For Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital. 🤗🤗😘😘😇😇
This vet. Hospital is very good for emergency situations, I.e. amputations.
No it does not. I have no idea which one that is. Sorry.
From what I know of with puppies & kittens they sometimes get a fever & vomiting from their shots, but most of the time they don't & they advise you to bring them back if it gets to bad. I would wait about 30 minutes to see if it mellows out or goes away. If not then take him in. In the mean time I would take cool wash clothes & wipe him down or put him in a Luke warm bath to bring the fever down. Get him Pedialyte for babies to keep him hydrated. Good luck & always, always enjoy ur animals.
When I was there last week, the current emergency fee was $60 plus the cost of treatment.
Yes, they take walk ins......
Animal Shelters are a better option. Vets are not equipped.
They only see dogs and cats.
They are booked ahead several months for their appts You can walk in any time 24 hrs a day for an office charge of $120 plus shots. If you are looking for something less expensive check with critters and litters.
It depends on how broken it is and what is needed to repair it.
Your baby needs to be taken to the vet
Hi, a scheduled appointment is $60 +/- x-rays or ultrasound $210. A walk-in is $120. Thanks Shelby
We do offer cremation, please call the hospital to go over pricing. We are so sorry about your loss. Shelby
No they do not take payments. Care credit or PayPal
I would imagine you can; however, I would call first.
The visit would cost 120$ just for them to assess what needs to be done. But after that it's not that bad for the quality of service you get there I think it's worth it. If you love your animals price shouldn't matter.
Shawna, We no longer provide wellness or illness care for rats. Unfortunately, we no longer have enough veterinarians with an special interest in them to serve them properly. However, if you believe that your little friend is suffering we can provide humane euthanasia at any time. Jen Welch, CVPM Practice Manager
I'm not sure about the exact surgery as my dogs have thankfully never had to have it but you may want to also try Thurman Veterinary.
Yes less than 100.
Grapes are toxic..he or she needs to see vet
