Great love of my service dog

Dr. Rakow, the other vets and all the staff are kind, caring and compassionate about their patients and patients’ families. Always ready to offer advice and assistance in making decisions (which are not necessarily profitable for themselves).

Dr. Rose Rakow is such a caring Veterinarian. She has treated my male 'ginger' cat🐈, Helios, for the last week; three separate drop off days. Tonight he ate almost a full can of cat food. We are so excited about his progress under her tutelage. Thank you Dr. 🌹. 🥰❤️🐈

I love bringing my baby here! The staff are always so friendly and understand of whatever questions & needs I have. My dog has extreme anxiety with the vet & has anxiety attacks when I bring him but the staff are understanding and non-judge mental and are always 2 steps ahead in order to make sure that my dog gets what he needs first and makes attempts to make the visit easy. They are very interested in your pets and will offer any services on top of your visit so it really feels like they care.

This is an emergency service hospital... you would be insane to use this as your regular vet because they are ridiculously expensive. The care and compassion of the staff is amazing but I would find a regular vet and use this in an emergency only
Yes, we can give all required vaccinations in Kern County. Please give us a call to schedule an appointment.
I think it was $75.00 for the office visit if I rember right.
Best thing to do would be to call and ask them directly.
Fred Gilbert feed store has 5 in1 shots and it's cheap and easy
Stearns Veterinary is a great place I've been going to him for 35 years
I don't know. Just call them. They are great
They typically only take in only one new or emergency case from my recollection per day or week or something like that. They really helped me out before, though. My service animal, my siezure alert and response dog suddenly was yelping in pain and I, of course, freaked out. She had been in great health her whole life and it hurt so much they took her in as an emergency appointment. Never having been there before. I'm a man of very little money and they did their best to help my companion out. It turned out she was just showing her age and had developed arthritis. Or would it be ARF-ritis? But the staff was so insanely caring and loving and understanding. I highly recommend them.
