Denise was informative!

The tour is not worth the money. We were rushed though and only stopped at a hand full of graves. The tour guide was knowledgeable but there’s no time to actually look around. I was quite disappointed

Our tour guide,Bill, was awesome. The tour was well worth the afternoon heat.

It looks cute and small on the outside. Inside I don't know why I wasn't going to pay $25 to enter, it seems outrageous that they charge you first and $25 second!!

You have to be on a tour... ernies cemetery tour was worth every penny....found on groupon.
Lots of people hunt here for ghosts & spirits. Keep in mind, at the gate, it is $20 for a 45 min tour. You must stay with your guide. Hours are 9:00-3 most days..Beginning March 1, 2019, the cemetery opens for tours at 9:15 am & closes at 4 pm.
You cannot enter without a tour guide, there really is not much to see except the wall around it and the tops of some of the tombs sticking up above it. Take the tour, its fascinating, otherwise go to Lafayette and walk around freely there.
It might be closed for Fat Tuesday.
Yes
Famous New Orleans graves
If you have a family tomb there, you can call the Catholic Archdiocese for an appoinent to visit. Otherwise, it's closed.
If you are inquiring about tours of the cemetery, there aren't many right now. The Archdiocese has closed the cemetery due to Covid-19. No one can enter the cemetery. There are a few tour companies that are doing cemetery walk arounds where they just take you to the gates of the cemetery.
Everyone who enters the cemetery must be on tour with a licensed tour guide at all times.
No unfortunately because of stupid people in the past that use to go there to vandalize the place!
Service animals only are allowed in the tours. And you aren't allowed in without a tour.
Our company sells tickets for $10 each! French Quarter New Orleans Tours. No discounts, no Groupon. Least expensive in town!
Ok thank you all for your help ,i just buy the tour with groupon for $12.80 for 2 people
Tours are 7 days a week unless it's a holiday or there is a scheduled funeral. $20 at the gate. You must enter & stay with a guide.
Most of the time, cash or card, depending on who is at the gate. If you prebook, there are $10 tours, as opposed to the $20 you pay at the gate.
You will need to call the New Orleans Catholic Cemeteries for permission to wed in their cemetery. Don't just think you can pop in & do it. You also have to be with a licensed guide to gain entry. Rev. Tony has some wonderful ideas & places for weddings. Best to confer with him!
Not to my knowledge. Mostly walking, as you have to walk into the cemetery. You may take a mule & carriage ride TO the cemetery, but have to walk in.
You can get a tour for 20.00 at the gate. Better if you prebook with one of the tour companies in town
Go to or call the Archdiocese. 1000 Howard Ave., Ste 500. The Catholic Archdiocese, not St. Louis Cathedral, has all the records!
Closed Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter. Closes early Lundi Gras & a few other days.
You must take a tour but it is fairly in expensive
