Go to or call the Archdiocese. 1000 Howard Ave., Ste 500. The Catholic Archdiocese, not St. Louis Cathedral, has all the records!
Go to the Archdiocese and talk with someone in the office, or, if you are not in New Orleans, call the St. Louis Cathederal in New Orleans because they have oversight of everyone buried there. You can Google it and probably get their phone number. The guide does not have burial information to give, and you could walk all day looking at headstones. The burial source is St. Louis Cathederal. Be advised that there may not be a specific site because burials were made there using family or friends tomb, then came 1 Nov, All Souls Day...the bones were scraped and thrown to the back of the tomb and someone else used the same tomb. This happened to my grandmother when she died and my mother was 18. There is no tomb to visit although I have a photo of my mother standing beside a tomb where her mother was buried.
Google the cemetery name and "burial records", there are several sites that should be helpful.
