Love this place! Been coming to this beautiful campground my whole life! They have an amazing, freezing cold but amazing pool! With newer changing rooms/ shower houses. You don't need to camp there to get a shower either. Showers are $4 for non campers I believe. We stop by for showers often when staying at our cabin that has no running water. But anyway it's rarely ever full. Every time we stop by the pools empty but it's still open. Just a great campground all around.

A great starting point for many attractions nearby in sproul state forest. Multiple trails, nearby other state parks and wildlife. The park itself has campgrounds a pool, large picnic areas and a cabin that is maintained by the park. A fantastic park all around.

The light pollution is so low and the air so clear, the stars are absolutely gorgeous! The campground is very clean, and the tent sites were spacious. The people were very friendly who run the park. I loved it there!

You'd have to check the dcnr state park website for availability. As far as cost, they are standard at all state parks. It's like a $15 base price for a basic site no water or electric. Then it goes up depending on what you want. Then they add a $6.50 processing fee, then taxes, so it ends up being like $30 and up for a site.
You can contact a man that works for dcnr and im sure he can give you tons of information on your question. Phone: 570-923-6000 Manager: Doug Swisher
